The fracas between the Republican presidential front-runners escalated Sunday as Donald Trump went after Ted Cruz's likability, calling him a "nasty guy."
"Nobody likes him, nobody in Congress likes him, nobody likes him anywhere once they get to know him," Trump said in an interview airing on ABC's "This Week."
After weeks of circling each other, the gloves came off between Cruz and Trump in Thursday's debate, as Trump questioned Cruz's birthright citizenship and Cruz attacked Trump's "New York values."

“... Now he needs to moderate that with a little bit of Ike.”
Yep.
Cruz is the mirror opposite of the Uriah Heep character.
Cruz takes positions that are anathama to TPTB.
If you want a mud wrestler, you have your candidate. I want someone with a Conservative core who knows how to fight our enemies, not a liar and a cheat who attacks those advancing Conservative Christian principles, while praising the likes of Barack Obama.
Pap like this really resonates, though.
It was a low blow because Mary Trump was a US citizen at the time of Trump’s birth. Super Lawyer Ted knew this and as most lawyers do, twisted the facts to fit a narrative.
Thanks for that link. I am LOL. Not sure any of it is true, but it is believable.
Precisely
What advancing of himself are you speaking of?
You mean the money he is pissing away? The controversy now attached to his brand?
Do you think he NEEDS this like some others do? Are you insane?
All of these candidates, save one, is going for a massive improvement in their lifestyle. Travel, the good life, a big audience...this is a move up for them. Trump already had that, and more.
I don’t believe he is doing this for sh*ts and giggles.
There are allegations from multiple girls, and they will come out. Trump’s not going to hold back. “Paisley Ted”.
I don’ think Cruz was attacking Trump with that. Just my personal point of view. He was trying to reinforce and amplify the contention that questioning the qualification of either of them is the realm of kooks.
Dude. Just, Dude.
I don’t want Cruz to make friends in Washington. He ran on a platform of not going there to make friends and become part of the Washington establishment, and I respect him immensely for that. Go Cruz!
Trump is a nasty liberal with a 90 IQ, every time he opens his mouth it sounds like a 5th grade tantrum. Trumps temperament is petulant bordering on totally unhinged now that Cruz is inside his head.
What a fine Christian man Ted has turned out to be. Good thing he pointed out that Trump was a phony Christian or we would all be duped.
What you don’t understand is that it is more important to speak that way to reach the most people. Don’t assume the speaker doesn’t know bigger words just because he/she doesn’t use them.
If you don’t believe me, I suggest you ask President Kerry about it.
Trump / Schumer 2016!
what next Cruz kicks dogs time to get off the play ground and get down to business or he’s out of the run.
You are getting the talking points all mixed up. You are saying that Trump is nasty and that’s why you like him but Trump is calling Cruz nasty so that you don’t like him... We will never follow what your posts are about if you do not call the right person nasty :-)
The Cruz campaign has some substantial issues to surmount. That is enough on the negative side. If Trump goes for college creepiness, it will erode support from Trump, guaranteed, and I think he knows it.
