The fracas between the Republican presidential front-runners escalated Sunday as Donald Trump went after Ted Cruz's likability, calling him a "nasty guy."
"Nobody likes him, nobody in Congress likes him, nobody likes him anywhere once they get to know him," Trump said in an interview airing on ABC's "This Week."
After weeks of circling each other, the gloves came off between Cruz and Trump in Thursday's debate, as Trump questioned Cruz's birthright citizenship and Cruz attacked Trump's "New York values."

Would you clarify? I am not up to speed on trump pursuing legal action.
Which of those three things is not based on fact? I mean, if you are going to call me dishonest as least do me the honor of refuting the facts inside the hyperbole.
Which college co-eds? The smear piece doesn’t name any college co-eds who were creeped out by Ted Cruz. The quotes are solely from his sleazeball roommate from his freshman year at Princeton. No female is quoted or named in the story. The sleazeball roommate went on to be a Hollywood screenwriter of the trashiest genre of films and no doubt, an ultra lefty.
“He’s rubbed all the right people in the wrong way, so screw Trump.”
I find Senator Cruz very likable and I tend to find that those who have endorsed the Senator are those that I agree with and view favorable. As you say I don’t agree with or like those who the Senator has pissed off. I view them as enemies of our Country and Constitution. I’ve never liked or trusted Donald Trump. Those who are being critical of Senator Cruz are sure overlooking a lot with “The Donald”. PODT
That’s the first time I’ve ever been accused of being a Bible-thumper. You should inform the fundamentalist Protestants in the Religion Forum. Lol.
Trump/Cruz ... Cruz/Trump ... works great for me ...
Actually, Jane Wyman divorced HIM. Then he was married for a half century to the same woman.
That is still unbiblical, is it not?
+ + +
Let me begin by looking at three different categories of candidates, with each category represented by an exemplary candidate.
Hillary Clinton. (Other examples: Bill Clinton, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi)
Hillary knows the difference between good and evil.
Evidence: She consistently hides her evil or corrupt activities with lies.
But Hillary doesn't pursue goodness and truth as first principles.
Evidence: She is guided by Alinskyite Leftism, which permits evil to achieve particular ends. This contradicts the first principle of ethics, which is to do good and avoid evil.
Her word is meaningless and she cannot be trusted to do good.

Ted Cruz (Other examples: Ben Carson, Rick Santorum)
Ted Cruz knows the difference between good and evil.
Evidence: He has exhibited a lifelong dedication to the Constitution and the natural law upon which it is based, "the law that is written on the human heart." He is also a devout Chistian.
Ted pursues the good and truth.
Evidence: When Rubio charged Cruz with 11 flip-flops, Ted admitted to six. He did not attempt to distract from the allegation or hide the allegations with lies. He did not sacrifice truth for his own benefit.
His word is meaningful and he can be trusted to do good.

Donald Trump
Trump does not seem to have a firm grasp of good and evil as first principles.
Evidence: Trump calls himself a Christian, but believes that he "does not need forgiveness." Even non-Christians understand that they have hurt other people and need forgiveness. This is profoundly troubling for two reasons. First, he is unaware of his own ignorance of the most basic tenets of Christianity. IOW, he exhibits little interest in definitions of Christianity outside his own. This indicates self-centeredness to the point of solipsism. This is also troubling because he seems to regard religion, which regards the foundations of human life, as something to be taken lightly. See also his literal Bible-waving performances.
More evidence: In his 1999 interview, Trump stated that his pro-partial-birth-abortion (!) and pro-homosexuals-in-the-military positions derived from his being raised in New York and Manhattan. This demonstrates a lack of interest in pursuing truth, and a tendency to adopt his moral code passively and uncritically, from society at large.
Trump doesn't pursue goodness and truth as first principles, or at best, haphazardly, and is more inclined to equate goodness and truth with his will.
Evidence: Trump admitted that he changed his position regarding Cruz' eligibility because Cruz had risen in the polls.
More evidence: Trump's positions change continuously without a discernible pattern or underlying ideology. The most logical explanation for his ad hoc positions is that they are based purely on personal preference or personal ambition.
Trump has little interest in first principles and cannot be trusted to pursue the good consistently, or to tell the truth consistently.
Bingo
LOL You noticed that, too. It’s been comin on for a few days.
Take one to know one, huh Donald.
You're just echoing Donald Trump's dishonest and misleading talking points. I have no idea whether you are doing so because of a character flaw or out of ignorance. You may be as honest as the day is long but simply unable to think for yourself or discern truth from fiction as far as Trump is concerned. I will give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that it is the latter.
Bump
I don’t find any of it “believable.” You do. Thus, you’re in the “fake but accurate” club. Go talk to your friend, craig livingstone. I prefer folks who prefer the truth.
I was wondering the same thing.
Raise your hand if you are so naïve you didn’t know this was bound to happen? LOL!
Trump is not a choke artist like Mitt. He has the eye of the tiger and he’s going for the kill shot on Cruz right now. My kind of guy. :-)
