Ben Carson=Surgeon General?
LOl! We have a Chinese restaurant next door to us and they have set up a miniature basketball court behind our building, nothing more nothing less....LOL!
True that - in some form. My reading of the board is that my man Cruz is benefiting from the attack unleashed against him.
Obama’s new job next year...replacing Drew Carey on ‘Lets Make A Deal’.
I’m beginning to believe that the Donald is about the best non lawyer candidate we will ever get. (truth be known one of my best friends is a prominet lawyer in town....)
Another sad truth. It’s easy to beat up on lawyers until you actually need one. Then it’s a different story......
Exactly.
Think about how the current (p)resident does it:
“Hmm... Who should I pick that really hates America and it’s values like I do?”
“The fat, man-hating lesbian. Check.”
“The “Wise” Latina who hates guns and Christians? Check!”
“Hmmm... What other POLITICAL calculations can I come up with. What will screw over the Republicans the most??? Hmmm... So many American haters in jurisprudence on the Left. How do I pick the worst one? Who best will ignore the US Constitution and make the law for me???”
Could be. We will know a lot more about all these candidates in about 8 weeks.
AB that is the best explanation I have seen on the net of why people are mad at politicians.
Hey Maccarena
I do know one high power attorney who gave up his lucrative practice for political office. BUT he came from a politically connected family where I believe it was expected that he run for office. He served as a state senator for a couple of terms and everyone expected he would run for a higher office, but after his last term was over, he went back to private practice. He was a pit bull in the courtroom, but he was also a good guy and a family man. I believe political office was eroding those qualities.
But there are good conservative lawyers too. I worked for some.
We love to swim too...today, the pool is heated and our boys are swimming and it is NOT going to be warm here...
——Ben Carson=Surgeon General?——
Perhaps, but I think a better and more powerful position would be health care czar. That is, Dr Carson would operate from the executive office building to meet with Dr Phil Roe and the other Republicans in the congress with health care programs to assemble the best aspects of all into something that can pass
He needs freedom away from the existing bureaucracies
Obama care can be rejected and then destroyed, but there will be new programs to solve some of the problems that created the mess
I have come to believe that the reason Dr Ben is running for president is to obtain name recognition and a leg up for the czar job
Also, behind him are CEO’s that want a leader out of the congress to oversee the process. Some bright soul recognized that Dr Ben was not only qualified, but available
Cruz did not have a very good interview on Fox. Missed the first couple minutes, but seemed nervous and got wonkish. Chris was combative like always and Cruz’ explanations were long winded and was full of DC talk nobody understands.
Not sure if they asked the birther question earlier or GS but not in the portion I watched.
Q: What do you call a failed lawyer?
We need to keep our eye on the ball which is the survival of our republic and our Constitution (what is left of it). Eight or even four more years of a Hillary, a Bernie, or even a Slow Joe with Obama lurking in the background and we will no longer have a country to rescue.
It's time for triage and an aggressive pushback on all fronts, not destroying one another fighting over our "perfect" candidates while the real enemy cruises to victory and then bulldozes what rubble remains of a once great country.
He has also floated his pro-abortion sister... With her New York Values... As a possible nominee.
What do you get when you have 100 lawyers buried up to their necks in sand? More sand.
