Even as GOP presidential contender Ted Cruz faces scrutiny over failing to disclose certain loans used in a previous Senate race, Donald Trump did not miss an opportunity to bring the Texas senator's Canadian birth into the mix.
As the New York Times reported, not only did Cruz fail to disclose a Goldman Sachs loan used for his 2012 Senate campaign, he also apparently failed to disclose a loan from Citibank for the same race. In a series of tweets Saturday morning, Trump, the Republican presidential frontrunner, eviscerated his fellow candidate and raised more questions regarding his citizenship.
"Based on the fact that Ted Cruz was born in Canada and is therefore a 'natural born Canadian,' did he borrow unreported loans from [Canadian] banks," Trump tweeted.
Since Cruz has crept closer to Trump in polls, the business mogul has repeatedly raised questions over Cruz's eligibility to hold the office of president as he was born in Canada to an American mother and a Cuban father.
"Ted Cruz said he 'didn't know' that he was a Canadian Citizen. He also FORGOT to file his Goldman Sachs Million $ loan papers. Not believable," Trump said in another tweet Saturday morning.
"Oh no, just reported that Ted Cruz didn't report another loan, this one from Citi. Wow, no wonder banks do so well in the U.S. Senate," Trump continued.
Trump also continued to criticized Cruz for comments he's made about "New York values" on the campaign trail and during Fox Business' Republican presidential debate Thursday.
"The Ted Cruz wiseguy apology to the people of New York is a disgrace. Remember, his wife's employer, and his lender, is located there!" Trump tweeted Saturday.
Cruz's wife, Heidi, announced last year that she was taking an unpaid leave of absence from Goldman Sachs...

I seriously doubt it since I am female. You are wrong - so just admit it and stop wasting my time. The loans are right there in black and white on his Senate filing, but, he somehow overlooked carrying them over to the FEC form. Sure, if you believe that, then I have some swamp land in Nevada I’d like to sell you - You are wrong and you know it, that’s why you resort to calling me names - which don’t even fit me. No, but he did have to borrow a lot of money from daddy when he started out. Oh, but Cruz did too but he had to borrow from a bank. His daddy wasn’t rich.

Cruz did not go after Trump’s mother. Just pointed out that she was not born in the USA.
I don’t care if you are an it. You are a nasty character and I will respond to nasty with nastier. Stop lying. Cruz broke no laws, he filed the necessary documents with the senate and inadvertently missed some stupid form which he has amended.
Has Trump paid those creditors he left hanging yet?
As well, many of us who support Cruz also supported Trump, but for very different reasons.
It would surprise some and upset others, but a couple of days ago I was nearly ready to publicly flip support from Cruz to Trump, but Trump and ‘some’ of his extremely rude supporters stopped me dead in my tracks. I do not see Trump as a conservative, but I think he can take on Clinton. Cruz remains the only real conservative in this race, but he should have started to break furniture a few months ago.
In any case, Trump is being a bitch and I have lost much respect for him.

Bottomline, either Cruz or Trump is going to be our next ‘real’ president. I like Cruz better, but either one of these guys can help America move away from this nightmare we are in.

How would I know that? I'm not privy to his private conversations or motives. But on this issue alone the real possibility exists Mr. Cruz could be setup and influenced by outside financial sources. One of which happens to be very closely connected to his wife. This is not complex.
He only amended them because he got caught. Poor little Teddy can do no wrong. Take your nastiness and stick it where the sun doesn’t shine - you give Cruz a bad name. Oops, I forgot - he walks on water and turns water into wine - not to mention he goes to the border with Glenn Beck to pass out teddy bears and soccer balls to illegal invaders. Just keep circling the wagons on him and do your research - he and his wife are both in for the new world order - what do you think the CFR was promoting - that she was involved in?
