Yes, it probably will.
If somebody really wants to prevent a Cruz run the place to file is STATE court seeking to remove him from the ballot over NBC.
If just one state, any state, removes him from the ballot he'll end up before the USSC in short order under original jurisdiction.
Yes.
Trump was right (again). This needs to be taken care of before we go any further. If Cruz is going to be the VP candidate, this matter needs to be settled now.
Even though I support Cruz I think this lawsuit needs to go forward. We need a ruling on that issue and the sooner the better.
Newton B. Schwartz was recently suspended from the bar of Pennsylvania and was also sanctioned by the Supreme Court of Louisiana for dishonest and deceitful conduct and illegally practicing law without a license.

No way. Libs gonna jump on this like white on rice.
Guess only God-hating, baby killing sodomists get a pass on the “eligibility” thing.
If a judge wants to hear the case he can entertain the lawsuit in totality his courtroom.
Good, let’s get it over with.
People mistakenly assume that forces that were in place to stonewall challenges to Obama are also in place to stonewall challenges to Cruz.
I’m VERY afraid that we are about find out just how brazenly hypocritical our judicial system really is.
This is what the DIE HARD Cruz fans don't seem to understand. This will cast DOUBT with a certain percentage of voters, NO MATTER what the outcome.
It's akin to an honest citizen arrested for a crime he DIDN'T commit. Once arrested, DOUBT about his honesty, among the public, has now been cast to some degree or another.
This is what the Dems and the GOPe have done over and over to Cruz during his short tenure in the Senate.
It's called "compromising the candidate" and diminishing him with the voters.
Dirty politics?... YES, but unfortunately part of the game.
It baffles me sometimes about FReepers here. On one hand they want a fighter as their candidate and then when they do fight then they are not playing nice.
When I was a campaign manager we challenged every signature on our well-heeled opponent’s nominating petition. We got them DQ’ed because they did not have enough valid signatures. Was that nice? Probably not. But we saved a boatload of money because we did not have to fight an expensive primary battle. I support Cruz but see nothing wrong with what Trump is doing. I would actually think less of him for not using every weapon at his disposal to beat an opponent(Looking at you Mitt and Juan). Trump is warming up for the general election.
Orly Taitz is amused.
Does anyone know of afilliations by Newton B. Schwartz, Sr. regarding political
parties, other attorney groups, type cases he specializes in, etc?
And when O'Reilly sets his jaw, looks down at his papers for the next subject, and makes a closing definitive statement....then instantly moves to the the next segment or commercial, by golly...you know that what he curtly, emphatically and adamantly just stated (with never any rebuttal allowed) is from God's lips to your ears.
