Ted Cruz: undocumented Canadian candidate? Andrew Cuomo didn't quite go quite that far, but the New York governor surely took a birther shot at Cruz during his appearance on today's Morning Joe.
Invited on to comment on Cruz's claim that Donald Trump represents "New York values," New York Governor Cuomo said: "You think the sign says only people from Canada that happen to come from Spanish-Irish descent? We said everyone is welcome."

Let’s not forget the NY Values of Michael Bloomberg who is spending money to target pro 2nd amendment conservatives for removal from elected office.
The media never learns. Like Bernard Goldberg said of Nixon’s election. Everyone in the media was shocked that Nixon won because no one in the media knew or respected anyone who would have voted for him.

The progressive mind is a terrible thing to taste. Wide open borders for Latino gangs and raping jihadis, but closed borders for a slightly questionable Latino conservative. Would be great to see them attack Cruz and loose the Latino vote.

In case you missed it, Cruz Campaign reported donations last quarter of 22 Million. They Campaign is reporting that the rate of donations for this quarter are exceeding last quarter. :)
Too bad Cruz isn’t from Mexico. He would have already won in their eyes...

Those aren’t NY values, those are liberal elitist values. Your town has some of those guys too. The only difference is that NY’s economy can create more of them, and they are richer, than anyone else’s liberal elitists.
That’s because the rest of the country depends on NY. Don’t believe me? Find the business in your city whose financing, legal, production, or marketing never flows through NY and I’ll show you a very small business with few employees. While you’re at it, show me how you’ll finance your city or state government operations without Wall Street banks to issue the bonds.

Cruz does not use the City qualifier, he is attacking the entire state. He's jumped the shark on this. NY is the news and media center of the nation. They (the media) will not be kind to him. Also their are tens of millions of former NYers living all over this country, he pissed them off too. The "smartest guy ever" sure says some dumb things at the worst possible time to boot.
Only progressives have a problem with it.

It’s really funny, the headlines reference Cruz’s remarks about “New York City”, yet it escapes you.
You also appear to miss the fact that the song “New York, New York” is about the city.
I have no doubt that Cruz will continue to receive donations from individuals. That part of his campaign organization appears to be best in class, exemplary.
But it's the PAC money that will make or break him in the fundraising sphere. And those guys like to place a bet with some expectation of a return. This will damage his ability to gain that investment.

Yep. Most people are still undecided. Cruz just set himself up big time to be labeled as a hypocritical politician. The Super PACs will shred him with negative ads. This is Made for TV no doubt.
If Cruz meant New York City then why didn’t he say New York City? He was on with M. Kelly he has every opportunity to qualify his remarks but instead he doubles down. New York values, are not Iowa values not New Hampshire values. Please note New York is a state, Iowa is a state and New Hampshire is a state. Cruz was either talking about the state of New York or his very badly misspoke and it is going to hurt him.
