Do ‘New York’ values mean that he doesn’t like Chicago Style Pizza?

Compare this to Donald Trump. He's always praising the voters, wherever he goes. He's making it very clear that he doesn't think the jerks represent anything but a small minority.
And the intellectually superior Cruz blanket-offends a whole region? Amazing.

New York values are actually very good. It’s just that Trump doesn’t reflect them. He grew up in the very insulated bubble of a wealthy prep-school boy, and probably never ever traveled the subway or met any normal New Yorkers.

I listened to Joe today and I agree with him, the answer Trump gave was the best reply there could have been...and also, as Joe said, ‘It was a very stupid remark to make’...like it or not...
Those people will never forget what happened there, along with the Pentagon and PA. I was living in PA when that happened, you just don't forget that happening...
Very unwise, stupid, disgusting, typical ‘politician’ remark to make...
GO. TRUMP. GO and GO. NEW YORK. GO!!!

New York Military School is not a prep school...it is an old fashioned kick your ass into gear school.
Quit spreading your lies and bullshit.

I think Cruz jumped the shark today...and fell of his skis and damn near drowned.
I don't think he meant to insult NYer's...but he did. And he will pay a price for his tone deafness.

I would like to tell you all something about NY values.
On the morning of 9/11/2001, Richard Bruce Van Hine, NYFD Truck 41, came off of his night shift and prepared to go home.
The call from the World Trade Center came in. Bruce strapped on his gear and got on the truck, and went to the WTC.
He was never seen alive again.
Years later, when they removed the ramp that went down into the WTC pit, they found his body.
He left behind a wonderful wife and two beautiful teenage daughters.
Bruce was my friend.
That is what NY values look like in action.

And Chicago had obuma as a ‘3 year senator’ also...
We don’t need these type of ‘concerned for only myself’ people running our country anymore...
Cruz isn’t dry behind the ears yet, he’s on the same level as the one that’s there now, and we all know where this has lead us....

Thank you! Cruz trying this New York Values
crap makes me sick.
What a uniter./s
What an idiot. His lust for power has compromised the values he sanctimoniously claims as his.

Staten Island was strongly Republican, at least up until last time (Hurricane Sandy, I guess).
Stupid move on Ted's part. You get surrogates to say stuff like this.
Jeane Kirkpatrick could tear into the "San Francisco Democrats" for Reagan, but Reagan (a former governor of California) was too smart to put down any part of the country.
