NEW YORK TIMES reporters revolting on Twitter. Apparently they received marching orders pre-debate:

Attack Trump.

Misunderstood job description. Was hired to bring own voice to NYT, instead forced to focus on Trump tonight

@Nick_FoxNYT · 56m56 minutes ago
First debate hasn’t even started yet and I have already been instructed on narrative by NYT

@GinniaNYT · 27m27 minutes ago
I can write my column tonight with my arms folded. It’s already been dictated: Attack Trump

Shameful memo received by all staff covering tonight’s #Debate. Bullseye on frontrunner! #GOP

If Ted Cruz was thinking about what is good for the country and not for himself, he would endorse Trunp.

Trump is brilliant with his unrehearsed answers and speaks directly to the American people. The others are very good lawyers and do not talk to the people.

That's how it strikes me, too. It looked more like a conversation between Trump and Cavuto than a debate. The others were promoting themselves but Trump was talking u>with Cavuto.

That was funny. Rubio is going to be hard pressed becoming the new GOP-E guy after tonight.

And most sentient beings who aren’t terminally obtuse are able to discern the patently obvious.

Trump is doing really well in this debate. It appears the audience was packed AGAIN with Jeb GOPe supporters. probably paid to be there.

Ted Cruz is supposed to be the master debater. How could he be doing so bad?

The politicians are more concerned about the impact on special interests than they are in furthering our national interests

I was thrilled because unlike Hunter, Trump is too well known to ignore and they can’t shut him up.”

Indeed. And by the 3rd or 4th debate, the RNC was kicking out anyone under 10% in the polls. They changed the rules for Jeb and Kasich. Remember how they would stick Hunter on the far edge of the stage and never pan there?

When Cruz’s own law professor says his citizenship is an issue, Trump is onto something.

Trump's going to have a hard time convincing constitutional conservatives he's a staunch 2A supporter if he starts holding up Tribe as a constitutional authority.

9/11 smell is New York values? What utter garbage!
More like all that massive insurance and all kinds of fraud that followed 9/11. That was the real New York values.

If we get the best products at a rate of 17 cents per hour, how does the American consumer lose? The only reason WE aren’t producing goods at low rates is because of STUPID FEDERAL GOVERNMENT MANDATES LIKE MINIMUM WAGE AND GOVERNMENT-PROTECTED UNIONS.

Crispie just told Rubio that he “blew it...”

Even a broken watch is right twice a day. You can add tax policy to the list of things Marco Rubio does not understand.

The idea is a threat to create a level trade field.

If the good paying jobs keep leaving this country, where will the money come from for the consumer to spend?
