Donald Trump took his front-running campaign for the Republican presidential nomination to Pensacola, Fla., on Wednesday night. And, holy cow, did people come out in droves to see him.
Here's a photo of the crowd taken by WaPo's own Jenna Johnson.
*snip*
Trump's campaign claimed it gave out 20,000 tickets; the arena holds 11,500 people. According to Jenna's reporting, there were "at least 11,000" in attendance and "several thousand more were turned away."
Large crowds are the rule, not the exception, at this point for Trump. He had 8,000 people in Lowell, Mass., earlier this month; more than 2,000 showed up in Burlington, Vt., -- not exactly a conservative enclave -- to hear Trump speak last week.
I've written a lot about crowd sizes this election and how they remain an uncertain indicator of actual support. But, Trump's ability to draw thousands and thousands of people to hear him speak this close to actual voting -- we are 19 days from the Iowa caucuses -- suggests to me that the enthusiasm and passion he has sparked among a certain segment of the GOP base isn't going anywhere any time soon.

You have taken an internet forum postulation by a private individual and run with it as a valid campaign issue.
It was a musing by a private person with no basis in fact.
The fact that you can’t determine this issue is different with one that has an actual paper trail and serious contributing factors on the public record means that you are either mentally deficient, or you are acting with malicious intent.
This is so easy. The internet must be hard for you. 2012. Do I need to go back further? Not saying itâs credible. Just saying itâs out there.

But of course, the point is not to highlight his mental illness. It is to highlight his weasel concern troll ways.
Evidence shows you have provided a learning lesson today stemming from one comment.
Unfortunately the recipients refuse to acknowledge it.
I’m a Cruz supporter but will support Trump if he beats Cruz.
I am utterly amazed how many Freepers were ignorant or completely unwilling to recognize mongrels comment for what it was!
Trolls never admit to being "for" anything.
The increasingly irrational posts by TDS sufferers are bringing me to a point I stressed some months ago: cruz is the fall back candidate for the political establishment.
Cruz is the fall back candidate for the political establishment?
Someone gets it.
Like with Maobama, I am still waiting for a convincing epiphany story.
Why should he bother? The TDS sufferers are never going to vote for him regardless, so why should he waste his time?
Is there a point to which you were tending?
I'll just write that off as one of those vacuous, no-response, responses. Mostly, it's on the level of the 10 year old who says, "That sucks" to everything they can't do or don't understand.
Boom! We have a winner!
Maybe the Democrat party of Pennsylvania kicked them out and they all went to Ohio.
Then getting a psychological analysis and putting it out there should be a problem for him. We donât want people thinking that Donald Trump is mentally ill.

Let me guess...this is your way at getting back at Trump for telling Cruz to come out with the facts on citizenship...right?
Grow up!
There was a tied poll, too, that isn’t shown, right?
Right. The Gravis Iowa poll from Christmas time. Trump 31% to Cruz 31%

Trump showing daylight now between the two.
The correct spelling is *YUGE*! ;^D
That does not surprise me. I just saw an Obama visit to Omaha. The place was barely half full, yet desribed by the media as “packed”. Furthermore, there were Obama-TPP protesters that the media tried to portray as part of the adoring crowd.
And this is the state where Cruz is supposed to be his strongest?
I see Steve King in the audience. I love the guy but somehow I think Cruz must have leaned on him to get his support as well as Jeff Sessions. Both King and Sessions are well know for their strong position against illegal immigration which is Trumps strong point. Following in Trumps shadow.
Mongrel exposed you.
Really?.....and just what was I exposed for?
Reagan won tons of Democrat votes—that’s how he won, silly goose.
