Donald Trump took his front-running campaign for the Republican presidential nomination to Pensacola, Fla., on Wednesday night. And, holy cow, did people come out in droves to see him.
Here's a photo of the crowd taken by WaPo's own Jenna Johnson.
*snip*
Trump's campaign claimed it gave out 20,000 tickets; the arena holds 11,500 people. According to Jenna's reporting, there were "at least 11,000" in attendance and "several thousand more were turned away."
Large crowds are the rule, not the exception, at this point for Trump. He had 8,000 people in Lowell, Mass., earlier this month; more than 2,000 showed up in Burlington, Vt., -- not exactly a conservative enclave -- to hear Trump speak last week.
I've written a lot about crowd sizes this election and how they remain an uncertain indicator of actual support. But, Trump's ability to draw thousands and thousands of people to hear him speak this close to actual voting -- we are 19 days from the Iowa caucuses -- suggests to me that the enthusiasm and passion he has sparked among a certain segment of the GOP base isn't going anywhere any time soon.

Sure you do. That’s why you pasted the same thing on five threads this morning ... of which the first has the extraneous characters that come from copying from an external source.
When you have your own thought and not one fed to you, chip in.
No, I don’t think Donald really is mentally ill. I’m just saying he should get out ahead of it and put it behind him. That’s all. It would be a good thing.
Everyone knows that Cruz is eligible except the dense. YES, most of those, including Trump, know that Cruz is eligible, but they are hoping that they could sow seeds of doubt in dimwits.
Never. That’s just playing into the hands of detractors. If he does, he sets a precedent. Every time your opponents don’t like you, they claim you suffer from some latent mental illness. If you follow up and get an exam, suddenly, you were institutionalized and are a mental defective.
Don’t give them the satisfaction. Imagine a Harry Reid comment if he finds out Trump went to see a shrink.
I also noticed you attempting a satire of Trump’s concern over Cruz’ eligibility.
I agree it is a terribly unfair problem to have, but ...
McConnell: No, Senate won’t pass resolution affirming Cruz’s eligibility like it did for McCain

Why can Mc-Conman do this? Because he has a revered creep — Professor Laurence Tribe, undermining Cruz [regarding natural born status].
Tribe is a creep, Mc-Conman is a creep, and they flock together.
The key to unraveling this is to completely obliterate Tribe’s aura of intellectual ‘superiority’.
If Cruz can’t do it, NO ONE can. He made a little stab at it here:
Ted Cruz: Are Democrats Behind Trump’s Citizenship Questions? [where he riducules Trump for quoting Tribe]

Cruz should challenge Tribe to a fair debate [no moderators, just a timer] and tear the guy open. Until he does that or something equally effective, this issue will fester.
Do you want a one time Democrat capitalist businessman or a Corrupt to the core Hillary or Comunist Sanders? Rubio can’t do it—He’s Bush on caffeen, Cruz —too much bagage—No, Trump is the best we have. But they will do all they can to stop him! Is there any reason he is mentally unstable? More than Hillary? No, I support Trump.
Exactly.
Just retort him, he’s a troll
Yeah lotsa people, but they won’t vote. /s

I know right. It’s amazing how concerned people are about Donald Trump’s mental illness. I hope he can work through it. I wouldn’t want something like this to hurt him.
And how many dimwits did mongrel expose with one post?...LOL!
I'm guessing it has something to so with reports of Cruz failing to disclose a million dollar loan from Goldman Sachs.
You might want to move about in more enlightened circles.
Sounds like you’re trying to walk it back now that you’re in libelous territory.
LOL!
Quoth Aristotle:

Concerned troll is concerned.
(And probably nuts himself)
