Reagan Adviser Laffer: GOP Will ‘Landslide’ in 2016 — ’45, 46, 47 States Out of the 50′

On the Sunday broadcast of "The Cats Roundtable" on New York City's AM 970, host John Catsimatidis spoke about the upcoming 2016 presidential election with economist Arthur Laffer, a former member of President Ronald Reagan's economic policy advisory board.

Laffer not only predicted a victory for the GOP, but he would be "surprised" if they did not take as many as 47 of the 50 states.

"I would be surprised if the Republicans don't take 45, 46, 47 states out of the 50," he said. "I mean, I think we're going to landslide this election."[continued]

The problem with Islam is that it is incapable of being reformed. Those who say “F Muhammed or F the Koran” might as well say “Just kill me now.”

There is no Pope or Centralized authority which could reform it and its holy books tell its followers to kill apostates and infidels. The only way to reform muslims is to convert them to Christianity or kill them.

There are a lot of “Jack Muslims” who are Muslims only because they don’t want their relatives to think they are apostates and kill them.

I would have to agree that of all the religions in the world today, the most evil is Islam. But the history of the 20th Century shows how dangerous it is to embrace Atheism.

The United States was founded by religious men who feared both God and Government. After the Revolution the founders of the French Republic went the other direction, with a heavy reliance on humanism and secular philosophy. How’d that work out? Since they effectively booted Christianity from the public square, they are now being overrun by Muslims. The same for most of Europe. The only countries that will survive the invasion are those who rely heavily on their Christian roots, like Czechoslovakia and Hungary.

Don’t mix politics and religion? Are you serious? You expect the Atheists and secularists to protect you from the scourge of Islam? Good luck with that.

?Breakfast is served!!!

Invite your Muslim neighbors. If there is anything on this planet that could make a man regret being a Muslim it is having tasted applewood smoked bacon and knowing that it is forbidden by their religion.

Reformed? Nope. Corrupted, yes. Feminism is actually the thing that can destroy Islam. It has destroyed every religion it has been established in. Sit back and think about it for a minute.

We need to send these shrill harpies to ISIS.

Can I have an Amen?

Lol.

My neighbors are good rednecks. Muslims would not like it here. The BBQ pork butt smoke would get into their lungs and the would be haram.

“You expect the Atheists and secularists to protect you from the scourge of Islam? Good luck with that.” How does that statement explain how Islam hasn’t defeated communist countries of the past and present?

My, Friend, whether you want to admit it or not at 4 am, it will happen if and ONLY if Trump is “our” candidate. The democrats are shaking in their boots to run against him. If Hillary drops out it’s Sanders, it might be Sanders anyway.
This is like the year Nixon ran against McGovern, when LBJ beat Goldwater.

The vast majority, I’m willing to say close to 100%, of us Trumpeters will vote for Cruz if he wins the nom. Can you say the same about Trump?

Rush Limbaugh said that Trump’s attack on Cruz from the left was similar to Anita Hill’s attack on Clarence Thomas.

Anita Trump is the current incarnation of the ever-changing, always evolving smartest person to ever walk the planet. He didn’t get an MBA from Wharton School of Business, but he stayed at Holiday Inn Express just across the street.

I like Art Laffer. But that said, there is a tendency among the old guard Reaganites, now aging, to slip into the trap of thinking we still inhabit the same country that Reagan swept in ‘80 and ‘84.

You are so right on that. Reagan helped dismantle his own administration too through Sandra Day O'Connor and Anthony Kennedy.

I'm with Art.

It will be Trump or Cruz against the twin jokes of either Hillary and Bernie.

I would have to agree that of all the religions in the world today, the most evil is Islam. But the history of the 20th Century shows how dangerous it is to embrace Atheism.

Here is a look at the death toll of 20th Century atheism:

Pol Pot: ~1.5 MILLION deaths

Stalin: 13 MILLION+ deaths

Hitler: 12 MILLION+ deaths

Mao: 50-80 MILLION deaths

Rachel Carson (author of "Silent Spring" which resulted in the DDT ban and is used as a form of population control): 60-80 MILLION deaths and rising every year.

Margaret Sanger and the Abortionists: 46 MILLION deaths worldwide EVERY YEAR and at least 1.6 BILLION since the end of World War II.

The irony is that the overwhelming majority of deaths in the past century have been not been the result of wars or acts of genocide, the deaths of nearly TWO BILLION INNOCENT HUMAN BEINGS is directly attributable to atheists and their blind obedience to the false sciences of eugenics and environmentalism.

I have said this before and I will say it again:
Illegal aliens ARE NOT the problem, they are simply one of the more visible symptoms of the underlying problem and that problem is abortion.

Since 1973 America has killed over 60 MILLION people, but beyond that we have killed 60 million WORKERS, CONSUMERS and TAXPAYERS. We have created a demographic anomaly that is more or less unprecedented in world history.

Plagues and famines tend to either take their toll uniformly or kill the elderly and sick. Wars kill the young, but they are usually brief. What America is seeing now is a prolonged period of low birth rates and even more problematic is the fact that it began on the heels of the Baby Boom.

The truth of the matter is that America has had a shortage of manual laborers for the past twenty to thirty years, there are manual labor jobs that the overwhelming majority of Americans WILL NOT DO and this is because during times of economic growth they don't have to, but immigrants will do these jobs. Had we not killed so many Americans, these jobs would have gone to Americans; but look at what happened in the 1980s, 1990s and the first several years of this century: Americans took the good jobs, but there was still a need to fill the manual labor positions and out of necessity these primarily went to immigrants. Had the labor situation not been the way it is, millions of immigrants wouldn't have come because there wouldn't have been jobs.

What America needs is MORAL LEADERSHIP, fix that and everything else will fall into shape. Sure there will be recessions from time to time, that's the business cycle. We aren't talking about Utopia, we're talking about a nation of laws based upon Judeo-Christian principles. Yeah, we can build a wall and keep the aliens out, but that WILL NOT have any impact on America's systemic moral crisis.

Strong Military? Maybe so, but then he dodged the draft.

Did he flee the country to avoid the draft. Did he burn his draft card or refuse to report to his Select Service Board?

He followed the rules as numerous others did which means he never dodged the draft.

I was fortunate to have a very high number, did I dodge the draft or do you think my enlistment was dodging the draft?

My “sign-on” date is due to not having a personal computer and internet prior to that period. I’m not wealthy.

That is the funniest thing I have heard in years. I had a TI-99/4A in 1982 right after I got out of service and only made $32,000. I was using email in 1984. Technology only requires a desire.
