Donald Trump and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz are locking in their lead among Iowa likely Republican Caucus participants, with Trump at 31 percent and Cruz at 29 percent, while U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida trails with 15 percent, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released Monday.
-snip-
The biggest loser today is former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, who gets only 3 percent support from Republicans, while 26 percent say they "would definitely not support" him.

Trump will surge most likely 5-10% right before Feb 1!
I predict Trump will win IA.
I predict Trump will win NH.
I predict Trump will win SC.
I predict Trump will win FL.
Go Jeb go!
No, seriously. Go Jeb. Just go.
There is a Astro Turf Polling in another Iowa poll that no one has heard of has them even, it was a phone poll.
One of the respondents said that Trump hammering on Ted Cruz’s eligibility IS hurting Ted CRUZ..
Should have asked that poll respondent who they are supporting, let me guess ? Donald Trump.
Dang you are annoying with this “Anita” stuff....you need to change it up a little is that is what you are going to do....I guess we could always come up with “Tricky Dick” Cruz since that is the lawyer he most closely resembles....but that would be dumb wouldn’t it?
Question is, who are these 3% people?
They are the lost tribe of turtle people from south of the border. They walk on their tip-toes and have bulges in their pants pockets from carrying toy turtles.
Don’t know about the rest of the states, but as regards Iowa I suspect Trump has been underreported by 5-10%.
With regards to the other states sure looks good.
Certainly if he runs the table between February and March then wow. It will be a testament to Trump’s organizational skills, his ability to pick very talented people to work for him, and his desire to be second to none.
I think the people working for him know exactly what he wants and if they perform he will shower them with the best of the best of goodies.
Yes, yes it is. Injecting doubt. Like Carson was Belt-Buckled and Carly was Face-Looked.
I’ve got kids in that age group and they and their friends are fired up for Trump.
It is. Depending which poll, it’s Trump and Rubio, or Trump and Bush.
Does JEB have relatives in IOWA?
How can he and save face? This must all seem like a bad dream to him. Perry finally got it and bowed out. Some men just don’t translate nationally.
Untrue. My Tea Party Group is overwhelmingly for Trump as is the neighboring county’s Teaparty. Where do you get YOUR numbers from.
Will blowing several million dollars more of other people's money help him save face? Yeb has lost. Everyone knows it, with the possible exception of the 3% that still support him.
I suppose if you are going to lose, you may as well lose big.
Trump = Giuliani II from 2008
How many states Did Giuliani win, after being in the lead of GOP primary polls for over a year?
Trump = Giuliani II from 2008
You do remember, I hope, that Guiliani chose not to even compete in Iowa and SC. Remember that? Does that seem like a good comparison to Trump to you?
Last Quinnipiac university poll from mid December.
Ted Cruz 27%
Today's Quinnipiac university poll:
Ted Cruz 29%
www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/ia/iowa_republican_presidential_caucus-3194.html#polls
Cruz is actually up 2 points from the same poll from mid December. Cruz is still going up.
How did Giuliani do in the states he actively competed in?
He led the GOP primary polls for a heck of a lot longer than Trump has. He was another twice divorced, gay marriage supporting liberal from New York just like Trump.
Guiliani won zip, if I remember correctly.
Trump will lose zip, or very little.
So yes, the comparison is a good one, if you are from Bizarro World.
Correct.
Trump will lose zip, or very little
That remains to be seen. Giuliani was expected to do very well at one time too. Lifetime liberals from New York who back gay marriage don't tend to do very well in Iowa.
You did not answer my question.
Do you or do you not remember that Giuliani opted out of Iowa in 2007?
Yes or no will do.
Thanks,
