Donald Trump and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz are locking in their lead among Iowa likely Republican Caucus participants, with Trump at 31 percent and Cruz at 29 percent, while U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida trails with 15 percent, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released Monday.
-snip-
The biggest loser today is former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, who gets only 3 percent support from Republicans, while 26 percent say they "would definitely not support" him.

“The biggest loser” .ouch.
Ted Cruz will dominate Iowa- I said it before any polls, I say it now.
Some point to the new Quinnipiac Poll as favorable to Anita Trump because he’s 2 points up. But look inside:
Tea Party: Cruz 49 Anita 27
Evangelical Cruz 34 Anita 27
Very Conservative- Cruz 44- Anita 26
Somewhat conser Anita 31 Cruz 28
So, where does Anita get his lead???? Good question, but we all know the answer, from the Left:
moderate/ libs... Anita 37 Cruz 7
Cruz will dominate
Yes the big story is Iowa is a two person race. I suspect NH will evolve as such...
First poll in a while with Trump ahead in IA. So, is the eligibility issue hurting Cruz?
This is the second poll with Trump ahead.
Question is, who are these 3% people?
And Fox and NBC/Marist put Cruz ahead.
The most interesting tidbit someone found was that Trump is doing best in the 18-30 demographic in IA. It's a demographic that is unlikely to turn out for a caucus.
New ARG telephone Poll Jan 6-11 (Trump 29, Cruz 25)

Trump will surge most likely 5-10% right before Feb 1!
Seriously is there ANY voting bloc Trump controls that will actually show up to people backing Cruz?
Because they all seem to think that 100% of whomever will vote for Cruz are already lined-up right now....but anyone for Trump? Well those people aren’t really interested, they dont care about voting, they really are just going to the rallies for a show, blah blah blah.
It’s a goofy talking point to keep pushing, and it borders on more of a hope than an actual expectation.
Jeb at 3% in the ARG poll too.
The constituency that calls him “El Yebe” will come out in droves for him and vote.
Yes! The 18-30 crowd. You can bank on them!
TRUMP!!!
Looks like maybe Cruz has peaked. Be interesting to see how it shakes out.
I don’t think it is so much that Cruz has peaked and more that the polling was not reporting accurately in Iowa for Trump. I think Trump has always been ahead 5-10% but the msm has been fudging the figures.
We will see shortly. The closer we get to Feb. 1, we will see the polls “enexpectedly” trend for Trump when in reality they were always up 5-10%.
Out of nowhere two polls are now trending for Trump. Let’s see how things develop.
