Donald Trump has admitted cutting off medical treatment to his nephewâs sick baby after he allegedly had his alcoholic brotherâs children cut out of his fatherâs will.
In an interview with the New York Times, Trump said he retaliated because he was âangry because they suedâ. His brother Freddy, a pilot, had died an alcoholic in 1981, aged 43.
He had two children â named after his parents Fred and Mary â with a stewardess he married at age 23 called Linda Clapp. The couple later divorced.
When the family patriarch Fred Sr., died in 1999, Freddyâs son, Fred III, spoke at the funeral. Later that night, his wife went into labor but the baby had cerebral palsy.
The Trump family promised to pay the medical bills. But when Fred Sr.âs will was read, it revealed that the majority of his inheritance would be split between his children â except Freddy Trump Jr.

Apparently, these are the issues Cruzaics care about and what Mark Levin was talking about when he said “stick to the issues, Donald.” smh.
I now have to vote for him 3 times. I only have so much time. My absolute limit is six.
Who gives a crap! I don’t. The democrats are killing us!
Family squabbles can get ugly, even in the best families, especially when money is involved.
“He had to get daddy to pull string”
I think I know someone else who could not get into Harvard...or Wharton...or the local community college.
You and Mark Levin must be getting desperate.
Your posturing is fooling no one. :)
Trump will be cutting deals with Democrats right and left. He will make “reach across the isle” John McCain look like a hard line conservative.
There's video of him spitting on a sidewalk.
I'll sum the article up for those who don't want to click through but I suggest you do as there's some good pictures there of Trump's family from earlier days:
So here's my summary:
Trump's older brother Freddy was an alcoholic. Big disappointment to their dad, Fred. Freddy got a job as an airline pilot at TWA, hooked up with an airline stewardess named Linda Clapp and had two kids. Eventually his alcoholism spiraled out of control and it claimed his life in 1981. But he could've been a contender if not for the demon rum. Instead, younger son Donald took over the family business and turned it into the global empire it is today.Who knows what happened behind the scenes with Linda and the two kids. Apparently they had their noses out of joint because they were cut out of Fred's will (who died in 1999). So they sued. Nasty business I'm sure. Out of anger, Trump stopped paying some medical bills for his nephew's infant children. But in the end, things worked out. Lawsuit was settled. Infant recovered (they weren't going to stop treating the infant just because Donald stopped paying). Typical family dysfunction that never would have come to light if not for Donald running for president and all. Speaking of which, whatever became of Obama's Aunt Zeutuni, who came out of the woodwork during the 2008 campaign? Apparently she came here from Kenya and was seeking political asylum, eventually going on welfare and living in public housing in Boston while her nephew became president.
I'm sure the media will pursue this Trump matter just as vigorously as they did the episode with Obama's Aunt Zeutuni. Who by the way, Obama refused to ever acknowledge.
Sorry, wrong link. 2013 story on nephew:
Hmm, so if pres Trump will retailiate towards the disabled on medicare if they openly oppose him...guess trumpsters will defend if it happens.
“KHALEDA RAHMAN”
Sounds like something you have to have cut off of your a$$!
Thanks for that Sam, for those who view things with reason and logic, that is a more than useful summary.
Of course for the Trump-hating jackals who are probably going to all be fully engorged for a couple days from this story, it won’t matter. They hate Trump. The most extreme of them would stay home or even vote the ‘RAT ticket in a tantrum if they don’t get their way.
A sad spectacle for sure.
Was this before or after he threw babies out of incubators?
It’s entertaining watching them run back and forth with their hair on fire over stuff like this...
Let me see, Trump was paying medical bills he didn’t have to pay... then, he got sued by the folks that were benefiting from him paying the medical bills, so he stopped paying the bills. Why doesn’t that seam reasonable to me.
So 18 years after dad died this came up? I don’t think it’s relevant.
