LITTLETON (CBS) – Donald Trump’s Massachusetts headquarters was vandalized with vulgar graffiti.
The front entrance at the Trump state campaign headquarters in Littleton were spray painted with a phallic drawing, a curse word, and “Nazi†written in large letters.
Trump’s Massachusetts headquarters is located on King Street.
The controversial presidential candidate is currently leading polls in the Republican party. “These types of acts are surprising and certainly not representative of the kind of town that Littleton is and the kind of people who live in this community. People have a right to express their views and disagreements, but the line is drawn at criminal behavior and vandalism,†Police Chief Matthew King said.
“Littleton is an accepting place full of people who coexist regardless of each other’s political ideology. I speak for the entire community in my strong condemnation of these acts, and I promise a full and thorough investigation.â€
The Conant Building, where the graffiti took place, was built in 1840. In recent years it has served several purposes, including general store, cobbler and stable.
Police said they spoke to the building owner and Trump’s campaign manager about the graffiti, which will be cleaned off after it is fully documented.
Detectives plan to view surveillance video from businesses in the area.
“This behavior is not representative of either Littleton or its residents. The Conant Building is a historic building, and it is absolutely disgraceful that anyone would vandalize it simply because of their political beliefs or their disagreement with a political figure or party,†said Jim Karr, Chairman of the Littleton Board of Selectmen.
“This is not what Littleton is all about. I hope that the Littleton Police Department identifies and prosecutes whomever is responsible for these acts to the fullest extent of the law.â€

Thats what Trump gets for daring to set up shop in the North Eastern Block states. This is a state that voted for Ted Kennedy 9 times with better than 60% each time.
Republicans should just stay out of certain states like ME, VT, NH, RI, MA, CT, NY, NJ, MD, DE, CA, OR, WA...these states are socialist havens and should be ignored. The people here deserve the hell they vote for.

my first bike came from a store in that building (back in the early 70s). friends owned the mobile right there, and we use to walk to the penny candy store, which is a block away, every summer.

Trump should show up Monday with four or five others and personally clean off the graffiti: the coverage would be worth millions in advertising. While doing the cleaning, he can blast the crime rate and refer to Mayor Giuliani doing this kind of thing c. 1995.
MA though has Republican delegates at state in early March.
