He's not just losing. He is loathed.
It is not difficult to see why Jeb Bush is losing this presidential election. He is the wrong man in the wrong cycle. Republican primary voters are rewarding passionate, fiery, outsider, "anti-establishment" candidates who paint their visions in broad strokes rather than pesky details. Bush is the very picture of a Republican establishment and his donors the very image of donor-class Republicanism. Though he claims not to be "an expert on the ways of Washington," he is vying to be the third consecutive Republican president named Bush. He is a conservative technocrat animated less by angst and more by, say, education funding models. Anti-immigration sentiment is dominating this primary, and immigration has long been Bush's chief weakness in the primary. He's a bad fit for the 2016 Republican Party, and barring some deus ex machina that switches every current coursing through the Republican primary electorate, he will soon have little rationale for continuing his run.

He is disliked partially because he picks his nose in public.
We don’t dislike him, we hate him. He’s a tool. A total loser. Bush’s suck.

We don’t like Jeb! because he’s just like Dole, McCain and Romney, fake conservatives and GOPe elites.
Damn you conservatives! Why aren’t you playing our game? You’re supposed to support whatever Republican we choose for you and then hang you heads in despair as said candidate concedes graciously to our victorious leftist!
jeb bush is a maggot. If he is hated by the base, remember that he hated the base first.
He just didn't enjoy them as much as the others.
Not sure we realize how close Jeb might have come. Had he denounced the MSM, courted conservatives, and established a ground game in early states 12 months ago, he would have a comfortable lead now.
Jeb said he could do it without the Republican base, so he has. This is where it has gotten him.
1. He came right out and said he is going to ignore longtime Republicans.
2. He is rabidly pro amnesty.
3. He waffles a lot. Voters are left thinking, “What???”
Trump people don’t like him because he’s not entertaining enough.]
Cruz people don’t like him because he’s not Conservative enough.
I think the biggest problem with him is yes, the hangover associated with his last name.
But it’s also the fact that he has (on the campaign trail) gone out of his way to thumb his nose, flipp off, blow off, etc conservative voters.
At least, it appears that way to me.
