Just like the other candidates, Ted Cruz is also out with a new TV ad today and in it he sits in front of the camera and speaks directly to the people:This is my favorite style TV ad as I think it is one of the most effective. And Ted Cruz is a natural at it.
And his message is terrific, arguing that while the nation is definitely off track, standing by Americaâs FOUNDING principles will get us back on track as a country. What a way to play the patriotic card without making it conspicuous.

Like it!
Unfortunately his support of the destructive Obama TPP... evidences a major unreliable position on the U.S. Constitution. Further elimination of the Middle Class is Obama’s scheme...
Great Ad!
He doesn’t support TPP.
Most Ted Cruz supporters don’t know Ted Cruz. They believe the propaganda he puts out. Ted Cruz is a Conservative Imposter. He says the right things to the general public, but behind the scenes, tells the big donors not to pay attention to the campaign rhetoric. His biggest donor base is Trial Lawyers, closely followed by his wife’s Wall Street Employers (She’s a Goldman Sachs Hedge Fund Analyst). There is a reason people who know him say that he is an arrogant egotistical a$% H&%$.
Textbook kook libtard reply except you’re missing the birther thing bub.
Why all the lipstick? I want to trust Ted 100%. I am about 60%.
I guess it is because he comes out of the mold that is the US Senate. I want a private sector self funded candidate.
What a way to play the patriotic card without making it conspicuous.Get a room.
Yea we don't want a President that "wraps himself in the armor of Christ" or wants to "awaken and energize the body of Christ" to be conspicuous about his patriotism...After all What would people that aren't patriotic think?
What a two faced dolt!
You want the guy who funded Terry McCauliffe who defeated a conservative in VA (Cuccinnelli), you want the guy who gave $250k to the Clinton Foundation. Talk about lipstick...you want the Donald in full drag.
Trump also gave $4800 to Harry Reid to defeat Sharon Angle in Nevada.
Thanks I’ll add that to the list of democrats Donald Trump gives money to defeat conservatives.
BTW Trump has a pattern of this, he also funds Karl Roves Crossroads PAC which works to defeat conservatives.
ROFLMAO.
What’s the weather like in New Delhi today?
No. Cruz supported fast-track authority to negotiate the trade deal that turned into the TPP — something lawmakers of both parties have done as a matter of course for trade deals for decades. He opposes the result, which is not actually a trade deal, but an attempt to put in place by treaty a whole package of left-wing and crony-capitalist priorities that would have the chance of a proverbial snowball in hell of passing the House.

I have my Conservative Credentials. Don’t know about you. Go eat more Cheetos.
I have to say in all honesty that the ad’s overall production quality is topnotch. And the copy is fine.
However, in objectively viewing Ted, there are some things viscerally disconcerting about his persona and delivery:
1. He constantly looks facially pained, as if he just ate a lemon. While it’s his ‘earnest and concerned” look, it is very distracting.
2. His voice is annoyingly ‘tight’, in the manner of Bush 41, speaking from the back of his throat. It is not at all sonorous or pleasing to the ear.
3. His arm movements are stiff and robotic, which is off-putting and odd.
I don’t believe this ad works for people who don’t already know him and his positions. For these folks it is a definite turn-off.
Back to the drawing board.
One, he has not supported TPP, he supported TPA which is the fast track authority to negotiate a treaty granted to the President. The TPP is the result of that round of negotiations. The Trans Pacific-Partnership is a bad deal, one that Cruz has said that he opposes. Also the TPP has not been voted on to my knowledge. If you are going to be for the free-market, then you must be for the negotiation. You can be pro Negotiation, and against The deal which springs forth from the negotiation. Many people especially so called journalists have confused TPP, with TPA. Some with no malicious intent, others with the intent of confusing the uneducated.
