Seems like the militiamen are threatening locals. I wouldn’t take too kindly to them coming in and setting up roadblocks and knocking on people’s doors demanding to know why they don’t want them there.

Is this really true or just a hit piece by lefty journos.

The state of Oregon is currently cleaning out the bank account of people who merely withheld service to Sodomites. Where’s the militia on that?

I’d read this.
Sentencing a father and son for a so-called crime that had already been paid for with their imprisonment.
The feds, AKA, someone, wants their land and must think they’ll get it, if these two are ruined by imprisonment.
Lean on the leaders of who is in charge of the feds at this location.
It’s Oregon. Don’t go there.

Who in their right mind would claim to have set up sniper positions vs the BLM and give their name to media? Perhaps a double agent?

I'm surprised at the number of FReepers reading this article, or just the snippet of it, and deciding the militiamen are in the wrong.
Why would you believe a single thing written in any mainstream media outlet whatsoever? Have you not seen the manipulation and outright lies time and time again?
The militiamen may very well be in the wrong here, but just based on past history, I'll always defer to the media being dead wrong about anything and everything.

The Hammonds don't want to be part of the outsiders' cause, and neither do many in Harney County. So the people are there to save people who don't want to be saved by them? Then why are they there?
