A professorâs extra credit question on a recent final exam asked students whether Donald Trump ⦠is the Anti-Christ.
Options on the multiple-choice extra credit question included: a) a fool; b) already in hell; c) a clown; d) all of the answer choices for this question are correct; e) an evil man; or f) the Anti-Christ.
The exam question was first reported by Hypeline, a project of Turning Point USA, which noted the query stemmed from Creighton Universityâs Dr. Fidel Fajardo-Acosta and his World Literature I: Antiquity to the Renaissance course.
Students reportedly earned five bonus points if they answered the question.
The Blaze reports that âWorld literature is part of Creightonâs âMagis Core Curriculumâ program,

I'm confused Dan. Aren't you a Catholic? Trump was for a while, then he left. Did you leave too?
I went to a Jesuit school and I know a lot of Jesuits. I had one Jesuit priest as a teacher who was a conservative. He has been dead for years. All of the others are to the left of 0bama.
Probably depends on which school you went to. For example, the two best Jesuits colleges are probably Georgetown and Holy Cross (note to readers: please don't fight me on this, I am using what US News says as an example -all Jesuit schools are excellent). Georgetown has a very liberal Jesuit community, with some exceptions. Holy Cross, on the other hand has some very conservative Jesuits.
I do know some very liberal Jesuits, but it is possible that I may have been likely to be immersed in two rare conservative Jesuit communities. That is not the point. The point is that Jesuits in general tend to stay out of politics. The ones you hear from are actually breaking their vows. They are supposed to minister on an individual level and care not for what happens in higher offices. On an individual level, the teachings of Jesus sound a lot like liberal politics. But He, too, cared not for Kingdoms of this world.
A CRUZ supporter saying GO TRUMP!

Ditto!
Answer: Why, do you want to follow the Anti-Christ?
Small churches is what Peter and Jesus had in mind when the Christian churches began, ie: small gatherings of believers.
Large churches, especially those nationally and internationally based are suspect these days due to systemic corruption of seemingly all organizations.
Discernment is in short supply, as is conviction, strength, and integrity.
Please consider familiarizing with what biblical doctrine is, ie: man’s salvation only comes from accepting Christ as your savior, confidant, and counselor.
Use your spidey-sense regarding signs of pastoral ego, hypocrisy, and that which acts as a stumbling block to believers.

My very best hope and wishes to you and your family in these very uncertain times.
Sounds like your real problem is that you are unfamiliar with how an individual Catholic parish operates. The church I attend is a small community of local believers. Thanks for your help.
Thank you for helping to identify “what my real problem is”.
In the interest of helping those who are inquisitive, questions are in order to help determine truth.
1. Does your church center itself around teaching and leading salvation thru Christ?
2. Are KJV bibles present at each pew?
3. Do services feature extensive discussion using both old and new testament passages which Always highlight the importance of salvation thru having a personal relationship with Jesus?
4. Is your RC church aligned with RC diocese, arch-diocese entities, was your church consecrated by these entities, and does those authorities send or receive money with your church?
5. Does your church practice confession thru a church reverend?
6. Does your church support RC social organizations that support / get compensation for “immigrant services”?
7. Does your church catechism teach about saints, relics, limbo, pergatory and other non-bible based dogma?
I’ll drop this.
Beliefs, values and interests are highly personal things.
You say: “in fact he is no longer technically a Jesuit.”
The Canons say: “remains a member”
You probably need to write to the Vatican and tell them to correct the Canons, because apparently you are speaking ex cathedra and the canons need to be updated to your standards.
As an example: The KJV is an excellent Bible, but you do understand that it is full of inaccuracies in translation, right? Some of these inaccuracies are attributable to a lack of proper understanding of ancient Greek at the time it was translated. Some of them are accidents. Some of them were purposeful political inclusions or exclusions. No matter, as I said its an excellent Bible, as long as you don't waste a lot of your life taking it literally, as with any Bible.
For that matter, many of the inaccuracies seem to account for the issues you seem to have with other religious faiths.
In any case, your heart is in the right place, so as a Catholic I wish you the best with the way you choose to worship Christ. It is not my way, but I do respect it.
Actually I don't, because as we have seen the Pope is not operating as a Jesuit so it is not an issue.
Have you read the thread?
Some have rationally argued that Obama is the anti-Christ. How would that play?
Not only did you not help, you missed the point entirely.
I'm pretty sure I did not. Please enlighten me.
Whaaat??? Where did that come from?
Are you telling me that Catholics don't take the virgin birth literally? The "real presence" literally? The resurrection literally? The miracles literally? If they do, then they need to stop attacking "literalism" is if no Catholic ever practiced it. Maybe you are confusing literalism with sola scriptura? They're two different things, you know.
Or are you just taking a dig at Genesis 1-11 because you feel rejecting the historicity of that part of the Bible is "mythology?"
You say the prof is a Jesuit so he has nothing to do with the Catholic church.
How does that explain that the current Pope is a Jesuit and is now the top dog of the Catholic religion?
Don’t want to argue; it’s just an honest question.
Please ignore my question in the previous posting.
I made the stupid mistake of not reading through the thread first.
The postings on the thread were informative to me.
Trump seems to lack a certain something, some sort of ultra-smooth zap, pop & sizzle that it could be imagined would be part of the full embodiment of that Thing -- when it comes (that is, if we are still waiting for It).
Trump is not exactly the subtlest of beasties either, now is he?
The world by now has long suffered worst than Trump at his most shallow-manipulative-whatever.
Put it all together and the resulting geusstimation is The Donald is kind-of disqualified from being the Really Big Show It finale embodiment of anti-Christ.
That Jesuit may need to come down from out of his academia-ivory tower lofty perch. He's turning into a common, low-grade harridan.
I'd rather trust a man who doesn't shout what he's found,
There's no need to sell if you're homeward bound.
If I choose a side,
He won't take me for a ride.
Back inside
This chamber of so many doors;
I've nowhere, nowhere to hide.
I'd give you all of my dreams, if you'd help me,
Find a door
That doesn't lead me back again
