2. Are KJV bibles present at each pew

As an example: The KJV is an excellent Bible, but you do understand that it is full of inaccuracies in translation, right? Some of these inaccuracies are attributable to a lack of proper understanding of ancient Greek at the time it was translated. Some of them are accidents. Some of them were purposeful political inclusions or exclusions. No matter, as I said its an excellent Bible, as long as you don't waste a lot of your life taking it literally, as with any Bible.

For that matter, many of the inaccuracies seem to account for the issues you seem to have with other religious faiths.

In any case, your heart is in the right place, so as a Catholic I wish you the best with the way you choose to worship Christ. It is not my way, but I do respect it.

Whaaat??? Where did that come from?

Are you telling me that Catholics don't take the virgin birth literally? The "real presence" literally? The resurrection literally? The miracles literally? If they do, then they need to stop attacking "literalism" is if no Catholic ever practiced it. Maybe you are confusing literalism with sola scriptura? They're two different things, you know.

Or are you just taking a dig at Genesis 1-11 because you feel rejecting the historicity of that part of the Bible is "mythology?"
