George Will is warning that if the GOP nominates Donald Trump for president, it would be the "end" of the conservative party.
âConservativesâ highest priority now must be to prevent Trump from winning the Republican nomination in this, the GOPâs third epochal intraparty struggle in 104 years,â he writes in a new Washington Post column Thursday.

Voting Trump is not voting Conservative.
The same ‘Republican’ party that controls both houses of Congress yet...
voted to fund ObamaCare
voted to fund Planned Parenthood after it was revealed they were selling baby parts off to the highest bigger
voted to bring in foreign workers to displace Americans
voted to bring in hundreds of thousands of ‘refugees’ that will pose a threat to every American
that has provided no meaningful opposition to Obama for 7 years
that has actively participated in our 20 trillion dollar debt while destroying the middle class
???
That party NEEDS to be destroyed.
Keep the real conservatives. Toss out the RINOs.
DESTROY THE PARTY.
Trump and Cruz 2016!!!
I think it’s more than that though. Washington has forgotten first principles, they have successfully deluded themselves into believing all the sweet nothings whispered by people who want stuff.
It’s my hope that enough elites will recognize these guys for the entitled bunch of princelings with zero work ethic that they are.
I LOVE YOU JEFF HEAD!!!!
He says that like its a bad thing. The sooner the GOP is gone the better. Time to purge and get a new name.
Where were you with Juan McStain and Mitt Romneycare, George Can’t?
The Republican party abandoned conservatives decades ago.
B. Is the Republican Party truly a Conservative Party? (Yes McKinley, Coolidge & Reagan were Conservatives, but that is about 18+ years, out of a 161 year history.)
C. Is Trump, now awake and showing it, really less Conservative on the actual issues than Jeb Bush, Governor Kasich, Governor Christie, or others who are acceptable to George Will?
D. Or is George Will simply reflecting the hysterical approach of those Republicans who like to accommodate President Obama, when the chips are down, rather than stand up for their oaths of office? In other words, simply accommodating the Whipped cur breed, who are Conservative only in their own pretenses, but contemptible in their performance in the face of challenge.

As opposed to "Let them HAVE their way."
You mean the non point is still a fabrication entirely.
The Republican Party abandoned conservatism long ago.
To a baby hive a voice in politics conservatives need to destroy one or both major parties.
Trump can’t take away a voice conservatives don’t have.

Trump will destroy George Will.
It's already committing suicide and won't be missed any more than are the two Presidents Bush and thankfully no third one in view (at this time).
George Will is to conservatism as a kazoo is to a gunfight.
I’m not saying it’s conservative per se. It’s just less liberal than voting GOP. Sadly, some are just fine with less when they could have the real deal. My Trump issues aside, he’s better than an open liberal Republican.
Regardless, I’ll be voting for Cruz.
Just who is this dingbat calling a Conservative Party? Do any of WTP see anything resembling a CONSERVATIVE PARTY in the DC Halls? I certainly do not, and for years I have been searching diligently for just a few members of some such party. Frankly, George, I don’t give a damn.
I'm glad I don't live inside the Beltway, or in the DC-Boston Corridor. I hope you are safe.
Buy stock in Ear Plugs!
Poor Georgie, becoming less and less relevant every day, thanks to Trump.
The DC Punditocracy does not realize this only makes more people want to vote for him.
Merry Chrsitmas
is George will feeling schlonged? (/s)
And that would be a good thing. We want to destroy the GOP and we want to shake up the corrupt system.
They will rue the day!
