Obama did not grow up in a religious household and became a practicing Christian as an adult. He has written more extensively about his spiritual awakening than almost any other modern president, addressing it in two books before he was elected to the White House and in more than a dozen speeches since.
His faith had been central to his identity as a new kind of Democrat who would bring civility to the country's political debates by appealing to Republicans through the shared language of their Judeo-Christian values.
With just one year left in his second term, Obama now holds a different distinction: No modern president has had his faith more routinely questioned and disparaged. Recent polls show that 29 percent of Americans and nearly 45 percent of Republicans say he is a Muslim.
He has repeatedly said in recent months that one of his biggest regrets is that he will leave behind a country that has grown more polarized and distrustful during his two terms in the White House. "There's all this goodness and decency and common sense on the ground, and somehow it gets translated into rigid, dogmatic, often mean-spirited politics," Obama said in a recent interview.
To understand why he so deeply believed that he could close that gap and why he largely has been unable to do so, it is essential to understand his faith and how it shapes his politics. That faith also explains why he has not given up.

The quiet impact of his lack of Christian Faith is that he’s now personally responsible for the pogrom against Christians in Syria.
Christian refugees are expressly forbidden, all thanks to Obola. His admin endorsed the UN’s policy on this. Impossible for a Christian to register for their refugee program without being killed.
Obama has no religion apart of self worship. If anything, he is a closet Muslim, based on his upbringing in Indonesia. I see nothing Christian in anything he does. Give me a break!

Oh yes. All of my Christian friends, pastors, etc. promote homosexuality and “transgenderism” at every opportunity. They also fully support abortion on demand, including late-term. Yup, that’s how you know someone is truly a Christian.

Obama is the biggest, worst DIVIDER this Country has ever endured.
Starts with a lie and goes on from there. Bio dad was from the Sunni Muslim Luo tribe, Step dad in Indonesia was Sunni, he went to the Sunni Madrasas as a kid. The WaPo is whitewashing, "raised sunni muslim" as "non religious".
BTW, his Sunni background explains his ground game in the middle east. He has bombed the Shia over the years but not much of the Sunni (without prior leaflets warning them), Bengazi was about him secretly arming the Sunni tribes = ISIS

Obama wrote in his book that he had trouble being taken seriously in Chicago politics, until some church ladies pulled him aside and told him that power in the black community was in the black church.
He wrote that he joined Jeremiah Wright’s church because it was huge and a lot of politically connected people went there.
Political expediency, by Obama’s own admission.
Same reason he later dumped Wright.
If he subsequently joined another church, or has ever been seen attending one since then, or has appointed any Christians to any positions in his administration, I sure haven’t noticed.

A true Christian would have been outraged at the slaughter of Christians by isis. He never spoke out. He never welcomed Christian refugees. He’s always taking up for muslims. He’s no Christian l. When was the last time he set foot in a curve for Sunday services with his family. This story is B.S.
Just read the entire article. Have to think maybe another commenter will have noted this before me, I haven’t read them all. The article very appropriately just seems to end in mid-air with no actual conclusion. Not sure what the point of it is other than the long liberal tradition of trying to prop up their idols with total lies.
