Dittoes. I was never into Star Wars when it came out. Still don't care. Having said that - Merry Christmas to all you Star Wars fans and enjoy the movie.
You kids get off my lawn!!
If you ask me, it’s more of a kids’ movie, not some new religious fad that fans try to make it.
I liked the first installment in 1977 and saw it numerous times. After that - meh.
With everything going on she feels the need to write about this. How about simply allowing people to be excited? If you have to put up with people talking about a movie for a few weeks that you have no desire to see, then consider yourself lucky that life is good and you don’t have real problems.
You see, the easiest way to be cool is to figure out what everyone else thinks is cool, and then bad mouth it.
Its worked for me for years. I hope Cupp gets as much mileage out of it as I have.
We’re so cool that what is cool is uncool, and I’m so cool that I see it way before anyone else sees it. You can sit at my table, but only if you acknowledge my unstoppable ubercool.
This is her second article whining and moaning about a movie. I’m no Star Wars fan, the family went to see it and I didn’t but I’m thrilled they enjoyed and got such pleasure from it. I’m happy there’s a movie that brings such happiness to so many with all the rotten and depressing happenings in the world today.
SE Cupp would suddenly love “Star Wars” if the new feature film served up a ‘married’ faggot couple.
Really that’s a lot of whining about commercials. For a fraction of that energy he could have invested in a DVR and skipped the commercials.
I’ll probably see it when it comes out at Red box.
I watched the first one 28 times in the theater. I got over it. I’m mildly interested in seeing this one when I can rent it on blue ray.
For all the griping about Hollywood nowadays, this movie has no profanity at all in it, no sex, no nudity, and about the same level of violence of any of the other star wars films. There were some themes that were similar to “A New Hope” but I didn’t see it as a re-hash so much as staying true to the originals, thematically. There was a bit of a gender swap, where the girl was flying the ship and the guy was shooting, which is flipped from the original, but it was cute.
But at the end, I want to know who is Ray exactly, and who is Finn’s family. And more Poe Dameron!
Han Solo shot first then shot the alien again and again and again then kicked him then flipped a coin to the barkeep saying “sorry about the mess”
