I would emphatically reject the offer of co-winner if I was Miss Columbia. It would be an honest and graceful gesture to not accept something that wasn’t rightfully won. I hope she does this.
Sure he did cupcake, he felt the need to pick winners and losers when the pageant already picked the winner...Miss Philippines.

I agree with that, as well.
But she should be co-awarded the prize just this year, there is no downside to that, from the pageant’s standpoint, from the actual winner’s standpoint (she won, everyone knows she won), but I would not say Miss Columbia absolutely has to turn it down for sure. Though I agree that would be the ultimate statement.
That should be her decision I think. That would probably be the absolute best solution.
Co-award it to both ladies, and Miss Columbia graciously turns it down.

What a heartbreaker for Miss Columbia. I even feel sorry for Harvey. I would have died on the spot! Probably Miss Columbia could feel not much worse than Harvey, from an emotional level, in the moment! Geeeez.

Putting the reaction of FReepers into the category of the standard liberal PC self-esteem practice is hogwash.
If you cannot discern the distinction between what happened here - and the exception that COULD be made as a gesture of good will - versus what liberals do, as a matter of habitual manipulative practice, then I think you to be either politically motivated by your animosity towards Mr. Trump (TDS) or else just plain intellectually dishonest.
I would have missed it, but for Willie Geist making mention on Morning Joe’s which is on earlier! LOL.
Turns out Willie was also on the TODAY show, so at 7:00AM I switched to NBC to watch TODAY and sure enough Donald Trump was their first guest. Matt Lauer conducted the interview ... *sigh* ... but he was respectful to Mr. Trump.
