To: Cringing Negativism Network

I would emphatically reject the offer of co-winner if I was Miss Columbia. It would be an honest and graceful gesture to not accept something that wasn’t rightfully won. I hope she does this.

I agree with that, as well.

But she should be co-awarded the prize just this year, there is no downside to that, from the pageant’s standpoint, from the actual winner’s standpoint (she won, everyone knows she won), but I would not say Miss Columbia absolutely has to turn it down for sure. Though I agree that would be the ultimate statement.

That should be her decision I think. That would probably be the absolute best solution.

Co-award it to both ladies, and Miss Columbia graciously turns it down.

Win-win.
