I thought this might happen. The lure of the American dream is very great, and many who come here come to love America (not all). And American culture is largely about the opportunity for reinvention, and the desire to reinvent one’s religion to put the conscience at ease about being a loyal American is high. And if one succeeds, then he can enjoy being a loyal American while being a devout member of his faith (as reconfigured in his own mind).
You may repudiate them thusly, and I, for one, don’t agree with their silly interpretation, but there practically isn’t anything to stop them. Not even the Supreme Court-sanctioned law.

Well the government might not, but the law does. That is what throws so much credibility behind Trump's position of stopping the influx of the murdering rapists.

Look at what is happening in Europe...it's the same bunch of murdering rapists that are to be coming here. They have no desire to "reinvent" their "religion" NOR to become loyal Americans. Hassan, the Boston bombers, this recent whacked couple in San Bernadino and many many more. The Somalians, the Dearborn crowd, Seattle....all unassimilated, and many even attempting to tell us to change.
Some may have broken away, but we're not talking about Syrian or Coptic Christians now are we. I doubt anyone ever has any trouble with them. They do want to become loyal Americans.

You’re starting out with the false premise that ISIS’ interpretation is right. But actually, while many moslems want sharia, few agree with ISIS’ interpretation of islam, which is a fairly idiosyncratic, apocalyptic view. Because many moslems don’t agree withem, they kill a lot of moslems. There penalty for heresy is a bit harsh.
But even if they won over the overall majority of moslems to their peculiar theology, it wouldn’t be the “right” interpretation of islam because ISLAM IS A FALSE RELIGION. Thus, there can’t be any “right” interpretations.
The law does not have an interpretation of islam. It merely allows the president the leeway to restrict immigration of certain groups.
There are several million moslems in the US. Some dozens have committed terrorist acts.
