So now, the Beeb is picking this up - it’s not just Russia Today.
If it IS a bogus story, it just flashed round the world.
If it’s the truth, then this whole thing’s going south faster than a flock of Confederate ducks.
It doesn’t appear that there is anything to be gained by continuing to screw around in Libya.
This isn't an issue of stupidity but of intentional deception. Obama pretends to be fighting terrorism but really doesn't do anything. Like all the phone airstrikes against ISIS - 75% of the planes return without dropping their ordinance. They give 45 minute advance warnings to targets they do bomb. They refuse to bomb the oilfields which are funding ISIS. These phony "limited" ground incursions are just more of the same thing. What Obama really does is provide tons of weapons to "friendly" forces in the middle east which he knows will end up going right to the terrorists. These people are playing for the other side.

This is the sorriest thing I can recall in a long time here.
Far from being any sort of “secret” special forces mission, it’s written up in the newspaper.
Ignoring the charitable writeup, our special forces were kicked out upon landing.
What happened to slipping into a country undetected etc... Oh that’s right our president announced to the world that our special forces were going.

Embarrassing. Unfortunately, the Obama administration is chasing away US troops too; as of right now they are preparing to purge more NCO's in 2016.
Pretty nice of Paul Ryan to help Obama shovel money into bottomless overseas pockets and perpetual entitlement holes while he cuts troop strength. By the time the uniparty is done sucking the blood out of everything we have, we may still have combat parity with Grand Fenwick.
