On Tuesday, the Superintendent of the Los Angeles Unified School District announced that all schools would be shut down today due to an unspecified terror threat. According to ABC News, that threat also carries “unknown credibility.†Bus drivers say they have been returned to their bus depots. LAUSD is the nation’s second-largest school district, with 640,000 students and 900 schools; children range from kindergarten to 12th grade.

Fox cut away immediately when she started speaking.
The hispanic lobby is going to go ballistic for them doing that.
There should be laws against terror threats. We wouldn’t be in this fine mess if we’d just tighten regulations on them.

I agree. 3 years ago yesterday was Sandy Hook. It seems that many (not all) school shootings occur either at the end of the semester or just before Christmas break. I am bracing for something to happen in this country this week.
I looked at a few news reports from the LA area media. They were all reporting “terrorist”. This does sound serious.

A phone call to a school board member seemed to have started this action.
The terrorists are learning that all it takes is a threat. I’m beginning to think their goal now is to scare enough people into allowing guns to be outlawed. In fact, it might have been an anti gun liberal who made the threat.

Why should they cancel school because someone wrote “Praise God” on the wall. It’s the same god that George Bush prays to. And besides, terror and religion have nothing to do with it. This is only partly sarcasm.
