According to the latest Des Moines Register Poll, (full pdf below) of 400 Republican caucus goers, candidate Ted Cruz has surged into the lead with 31% support - a gain of 21 points since DMR's previous polling:

All of these polls really mean nothing at this point.
Also..I really don’t care about Iowa. I can decide for myself.

What a fabricated lie. This out fit is a joke. They have openly attacked Trump for months. They push bush but he is so pathetically gone that they are desperate for anyone else. ANYONE. This poll is made up . Trump at 33%!! and rising!!

Not really unexpected, most polls had Cruz going up in the state rapidly in last few polls, one had him leading. RealClearPolitics had Cruz and Trump virtually tied in their combination poll chart.
I don’t know that I would say Cruz is as high as this poll says 31% to Trump’s 21%, but I imagine they are both right at top.
Because their final polls have a very good record.
Of course it is only assumed that their interim polls, like this one, are accurate.
That the poll hurts both Trump and Cruz (by raising his expectations) is awfully convenient though isn’t it?
I also have a hard time believing it myself. However its a long way to Feb.
