Donald Trump has intensified his rhetoric about what he calls Britain's "massive Muslim problem", claiming that more British Muslims join the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (Isil) than the armed forces.

The Republican presidential front-runner has been engaged in an ongoing spat with British officials since his claim earlier this week that parts of London were so radicalised that police refused to enter, and his call for a ban on all Muslims entering the US.

A petition to ban Mr Trump from the UK reached 500,000 signatures on Thursday night, and the British ambassador to the US broke with diplomatic protocol to join the chorus speaking out against Mr Trump.

Trump is starting to look beyond the general election and is trying to save England.

Is he planning on running for Parliament?

These statistics can be tricky. For example, we all “know” about all the Americans who fled to Canada during the Vietnam War . . . but never hear about the 30,000 CANADIANS who fought for the US in Vietnam over the course of the war -— a 3:1 margin over the draft resisters.

LoL. It would be pretty stupid to ban a future head of state who is an ally.

This is the problem created by groupthink on social media, where one is castigated for thinking differently than the masses.

It is FASCISM on STEROIDS.

“Please note that the assertion is not refuted anywhere in the article.”

You said it first but I can still repeat it. The article never once says how many Muslim join the British Armed forces. Never once. They never once attempt to dispute Trumps claim that British Muslim are more interested in fighting for ISIS than for king and country.

Obviously Mr. Trump has sources he trusts who are feeding him high-quality information.

He does not make statements of this type without being certain he’s in the right.

Unlike the MSM and the Uniparty hacks in Washington, Trump doesn’t pull “facts” out of his butt to satisfy some phony ideological fantasy vision of reality.

Ironic the move to ban Trump from their country for wanting to ban people from his country.

They can do it, but not Trump.

He’s also showing he has a detailed knowledge of what’s actually happening in western countries. It’s sort of a ‘foreign affairs foray’.

The Usual Response to Trump Utterance
1. Stuned silence, hurt beebers.
2. Outrage, denial, airing of grievances.
3. Turns out he’s right, matter dropped.

"Donald Trump claims more British Muslims join Isil than the armed forces"

Some muzzies probably join both!

Muslims probably have affirmative action that gives them favored treatment in the military.

I wish The Donald wouldn’t chime in on England when we need him speaking out on issues here at home. But, the problem is, Brits often shoot their mouths off about American politics and culture and, I guess, he’s giving them payback.

Banning a presidential candidate would be an absolutely asinine thing to do.
