This report should make Donald Trump supporters angry! While taxpayers are often funding political debates, the Republican Party has the ultimate say over its own events. And while the GOP is supposed to stand for the principles of the Founding Fathers, it can be manipulated by the political establishment which canât stand Trumpâs conservative views.
The real reason why the GOP is focusing on Trumpâs threat to run as a 3rd party candidate is it would give them grounds to boot him from future debates. The Republican Party, to protect its interests, is probably willing to boot the front-runner candidate. And they have savvy enough operatives, such as Karl Rove, who are ready to do itâ¦

Trump has the resources to nail the ba$tard to the wall. And he should, as a lesson for the others.
It IS the old August article posted in error. See Posts 23 and 128. What do you think of the current response to this four month old article?
“Is this story from August? The title is not clear.”
Yes, you are correct. See Posts 23 and 128. The article was discovered in some search engine search results that gave the wrong impression the publication date was 8 December 2015. The article page doesn’t really have a publication date, so the date used in the search results was used, and it proved to be erroneous as I noted in Posts 23 and 128. Nevertheless, you can see what a reaction the very idea of the four month old accusation provokes today in the wake of the news about the GOP proposing to add a CNN debate.
Yes, it appears to be so.

Thanks. I was checking to see if I had a mental lapse. Well, more of a mental lapse than usual.
“Donât we need a second party before we have a third?:)”
Very good! I’ll have to make a flyer out of that and take it to the Republican County meeting/s.
Barack Hussein 0bama, President of the United States.
I hope they do it.
It would seal their fate.
Even people who do not support Trump would like to see the the GOPe’s demise.
I’m trying to figure out just where this came from, since the bulk of the reader comments date back to August. It would appear therefore to be old news.
Good grief can you act like some one that hasn't took their brain out and played with it during a pot fest?
Impress me with your intelligence more.
See the link in Post 158 for the related news article.
Agreed.
Well, at least they have his autograph.
That’ll be far more valuable than the document they’re essentially invalidating with their own actions.

Here’s the worst part of it. The FEC says what Mckenzie and others are doing is ‘Legal’. As long as the R and D party pick the people who serve at the FEC, this will go on.
from the article: “ From the Washington Examiner, April 2014
FEC says it’s powerless against ‘scam’ PACs that may have cost Allen West his seat
( and now they’re trying to do it to Donald Trump!! Don’t let them!)
Political operatives are profiting by using misleading pleas to raise money from people who think they’re giving to well-known candidates who don’t actually benefit at all.
Their donors are often elderly retirees, campaign finance records show. ( That’s me!)
West lost the race by a narrow margin, meaning if those dollars could have been used by the campaign, it might have helped keep him in office. There is âlittle doubt that the Respondent sought to use Representative West’s likeness to raise funds independently to support his candidacy. Moreover, it appears that the Respondent spent very little of the money it raised to support West,” FEC officials wrote in an opinion.
The four PACs raised $14.3 million in 2012. Not all of that is attributable to fundraising that invoked Westâs name, but their figures for legitimate advocacy on behalf of other candidates are similarly dismal. “

I’m no supporter of Trump but this would be a massive mistake by the GOP if they were to do this.
It seems that the GOP is hardly more than an extension of the DNC these days. When you dig through the BS, on topics such as the Affordable Care Act, they really don’t want to get rid of it. They just want to replace it with their mandatory health care act.
Banning him at any debate would backfire. They would not even try it.
I have no idea about the responses in here I have not read them all.
The Obama WH has called for Trump to be disqualed from President. I posted the article but no one will release it.
The WH is counting on the UK to ban Trump. It is a huge mess. Screw the DNC and GOPe.
That kinda puts Cruz in the catbird's seat. He can go to the real (non-GOPe) debate with the big boys, or he could stay for the official one and beat the hell out of the RINO's. Nice choice to make. Only problem is, the official one will still have fascist moderators and they might not let him talk.
You say that as if that would be a bad outcome from their point of view.
If they ban Trump from the debates nobody will watch anyway and he will go up another 6-7 pts.
