Doesnât even mean Iâm all that invested in Trump. I just want to stomp on the skulls of the GOP. Thereâs no longer even a country left for me to care about preserving, so all that part of politics is moot to me. I just want the people who destroyed my country and turned it into this sick, depraved, faggoty third-world sewer to suffer and die. 100% agree

My problem with your theory is what would be in it for Trump? He is such an egotist, so why would he allow himself to be used as tool to get Clinton elected? He would have nothing to gain and everything to lose.

If a 3rd party candidate doesn’t win a majority of the delegates, then the president will be from the Republican party which owns more states in Congress than does the democrat party. Each state gets one vote.
A third party candidate would have ZERO members of his party in congress.

Cruz would be the only Republic I would consider voting for against an Independent Trump but the way Im feeling lately I would still vote for Trump in protest against the GOP.

I would just like to thank all the Trump supporters here on FR in advance for handing the presidency to Hillary Clinton

Cruz does not have a prayer of winning a general election. If he were the nominee he would be hit with his eligibility. No matter what he says or the courts say, the average American would believe he is not eligible.
His supporters may believe he can magically sail past that obstacle but I donât think he can.

Well, questions about Obama’s U.S. citizenship, which continue to this day, certainly never hampered his “eligibility” with the American voters. It would be viewed as the height of hypocrisy for the media or anyone on the left to go after Cruz over this, especially since Cruz could (and would) easily furnish proof of his American citizenship.
Also, I respectfully disagree with your premise that Cruz has no prayer of winning a general election. Many once thought the same of Ronald Reagan and dismissed him as “just an actor” and “too conservative”. What glaring weaknesses do you think Cruz has??
To: circlecity
If Trump ran as an independent I would vote for him unless Cruz was the GOP's nominee.
And that (Cruz as the nominee) is not likely because the GOPe hates Cruz almost as much as they hate Trump. If the GOP drives out Trump, they nominate some RINO squish like Jeb, Rubio, or some other loser.

Because he won’t get the nomination.
The political service class will make sure of it.

A shot across the bow of the GOPe. Trump did not like the RNC criticizing his plan on Muslims entering the US. The RNC should not have said anything given the primary process. It was bad enough that Ryan had to get into it.

But if he runs as an independent, no one will ever convince me otherwise that this wasn't the plan all along to put Hillary in the White House. That's more a reflection on your world view than reality.

Short radical reform, the GOPee is finished as a party. The rest is just timing.

I am not a conspiracy theorist at all. But if he runs as an independent, no one will ever convince me otherwise that this wasn’t the plan all along to put Hillary in the White House.
The two of them would be political Machiavellian geniuses.

Can I call you a moron after Hillary is elected? Presumably you Trump supporters won’t be badmouthing President Clinton, since you will have been responsible for getting her elected.
