Donald Trump just trumped all the Republican candidates for President.
The day after the mom jeans wearing squat to pee President came out to assure us that tolerance, gun control, and climate change would save us from ISIS, Donald Trump demanded we bar any muslims from entering this country and bar any American citizen who is muslim from re-entering the United States.
Set aside the merits of what amounts to at least, in part, an unconstitutional position.
This is actually brilliant politics for the here and now. Immediately, every other Republican candidate except Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) 100% rushed out to attack Donald Trump. He’s unhinged, hateful, etc. And the responses all amounted to "we must let muslims enter our country," which sounds a whole lot like "we must allow all Mexicans in our country," which everyone knows is blatantly untrue on both counts.
We do not have to do it, but the other candidates, unable to nuance their spittle, went all in with "no religious tests" and "yes we must do this because it is who we are."
So, to put it another way, the day after the President failed to reassure a scared public following the second worst terrorist attack since 9/11 on domestic soil, Donald Trump not only got himself to the right of all the other candidates, but also got every single one of them save for Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) 100% to align themselves with Barack Obama.
Hate Donald Trump all you want, be offended by his proposal all you want, but it is really brilliant politics for Trump right now in the Republican primary and the reactions from the other candidates prove it. All the people attacking Trump on his immigration proposals now attacking him on this have done themselves no favors within the primary process.
Have none of these people read Art of the Deal? This is an opening, bombastic salvo to set the terms of negotiations and the other candidates except Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) 100% just decided to negotiation in Barack Obama’s position. And it comes at a time some polls are suggesting Trump is starting to fade in places like Iowa.

Trump said yesterday he would allow American-citizen Muslims back into the country unless they had aided and abetted the enemy in which case they committed constitutional treason and would not be allowed back.
The Constitution does not require the feds to allow immigration of foreign citizens but DOES require the feds to REPEL INVASIONS (Art I, Sec 8, Cl 15).
The constitutional issue is not on Trump but on Obama who not only is trying to prevent repelling this invasion of Muslims and Syrians, but aiding and abetting our enemies, especially Iran. These are are constitutional acts of treason (Art III, Sec 3, cl 1) and impeachable offenses (Art II, Sec 4).
Why does Erickson and the MSM cite the Constitution erroneously against those that wish to defend our country and our freedoms and fail to even mention the 800-pound-gorilla's worth of unconstitutional acts by Obama and Congress on an almost daily basis?
The only question left is what will it take to remove the Enemy in Chief? We should have to put up with his lawlessness for over another year. He should be impeached NOW.

Get this - he was actually SMILING while he told me this! Talk about an eye-opening conversation!
Moreover, I worked with former Bell Helicopter mechanics, who had worked alongside Muslims over in Iran - just before and then at the time the “Islamic Revolution” began ... The stuff they told me was unFReeping believable. They all left their tools behind when the shooting started - just barely making it onto the departing helicopters as the bullets went wizzing by their heads or tore through the fuselage of the choppers ...
And One thing that was consistent among the Musloid men is that they are good-for-nothing layabouts. They would sit in the air-conditioned hangers or in the shade, while Americans worked out on the ramps and sweated their butts off in 130+ degree heat.

I am greatly appreciative of Donald Trump for destroying political correctness and getting the focus of the campaign onto the critical issues. I am not convinced he wants to be president. If it comes to that he will have my full support. Ted Cruz is my first choice.

He said we should not let muslimes in until we can get a grip on who we are admitting, you know, vet them. Thing is, we hear the mom-jeans-wearing obummer say we are conducting extensive vetting, but a US born Christian citizen that never traveled abroad can take up to 2-yrs just to get a basic background check done by DHS. Seriously. So how are these muslime terrorist wanna-be’s going to be vetted extensively and quickly? They aren’t.
Trump did not say not to deny re-entry to American muslimes, he said if American muslimes leave the US to fight for ISIS then they should not be re-admitted back into the US.
Willful misstatement of his position is regular fare for the media and lefty-wingers and Trump haters. . .like JEB! and others.

Religions, a system for worshipping God, do not call on the murder of unbelievers—except Islam. An argument can, and has been made by my betters, that it is not a religion.
Yes, as you say, there are political implications and influences inherent to all religions.
The definition is more broad than that. Evolution and atheism are religions and they are not systems of worshipping God. The bible seldom even uses the word "religion".
Idolatry is religion per the bible and in many cases a God is not involved.
Well, you know what the PC crowd would say. Invasion means declaration of war by a government of a foreign country.
There are lots of historically used , constitutional methods to exculed non-citizens (and even citizens in limited circumstances.)

People forget that the revolutionary period was a heightened state of affairs from about 1735 to 1775.
I think Trump should start the Miss Immigrant contest. They have to score in the top 20% in each of the standard categories of interview, onstage question, lifestyle and fitness, talent, and evening wear.
That and they should bring back the swimsuit category. That alone would help rule out the Muslims.
