Donald Trumpâs Republican rivals say heâs wrong in his calls for increased surveillance and profiling of Muslims in the United States.
Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush argued on ABCâs âThis Weekâ that the FBI has the tools it needs to monitor those in the U.S. trying to launch attacks.
âThe director of the FBI has made it clear that there are hundreds of cases that they're monitoring, and we should redouble our efforts in that regard,â Bush said. âWe don't have to target the religion.â
And New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie argued that Trumpâs comments highlighted his inexperience, as he pointed to efforts law enforcement officials took after Sept. 11 to prevent additional attacks.
âThe fact is we don't need to be profiling in order to be able to get the job done here,â Christie said on CBSâs âFace the Nationâ on Sunday. âWhat you need is a president who's had the experience and the know how to do this and not someone who's just going to talk off the top of their head.â

Christie's "experience": Appointing a Muslim Brotherhood-linked Muslim to the New Jersey Supreme Court
Oh, my!
Jeb looks like a true jerk in this case. 100% of the American people are behind Trump on this issue.
The elites are in cahoots against ordinary Americans, and have taken over the levers of power in Washington, a distant capital.
Exactly what the Founders worried about.
If they are not here, we don’t have to watch them here.
It fugures, these idiots cant see the mosques as command and indoctrination centers not religious centers, all muslims, ALL!!! are bound by the caliphate which is in direct conflict with American values and they will not assimilate! We need to get serious and move them all the hell out of our country because like the american muslim fun loving couple with a child WE DO NOT KNOW WHO ANYONE IS so we should deport them all.
I am so sick of seeing Christie’s mug on TV I could kick the screen. These for a candidate at 2% they sure are pushing him and telling us that his campaign is turning around. He is all for himself. Get that that Obama hugging, a$$ kissing creep off my TV.
France is closing mosques while our fearless moron leaders are against profiling.
If you have people in a country hell bent on overthrowing the government and killing innocent Americans what is to be done?
Newsies were shocked at the nearly 10-point jump in Trump’s numbers this past week. And one newsie even commented ‘that poll was before the San Bernadino attack.’
Look for Trump’s polling number to take another big bounce when the new poll numbers start coming in this week.
How can anyone disagree when he says the government is run by stupid people?
No he’s not...It’s not profiling...it’s reality.
Whoa...
It is curious that the bottom tier (under 5%) are said to be ‘surging’ when they get a 2 or 3 point bump, but the top tier (Trump and Cruz primarly) only get ‘a slight increase’ when they have an increase of nearly 10 points.
Media and GOP establishment are still pushing for some of the lower tier candidate to break out of the pack. Instead, the lower tier keep having to dodge falling poll numbers.
Muslims appear to be willing to kill people for no other reason than they are not Muslims.
In fact, my interpretation of the Koran is that they are commnded to do so.
Given this, profiling seems to be a minimal response.
They are purposely bumping up Tubby’s poll numbers because they want him in the next debate.
I have heard GOPe pundits think Tubby can talk tough like Trump so that makes him Trump.
Fat chance (literally).
I listened to Tubby a couple days ago talking about Islam. He was sooooooooooo wrong. He thinks that radical Islam is different from Islam. It isn’t.
He is the GOPe’s Great Fat Hope to be flavor of the next 10 days. Do we want Bridgegate again? Nope. NJ is still a big fat mess and Christie is no hero.
And who can forget his walk on the beach with Tubby and Obama holding hands?
These people seem determined to hand the election to Trump.
Probably a good thing. When can we start the primary voting to weed these weasels out?
