A vote for Jeb Bush means there's a good chance he'll come with a female vice presidential pick - a Carly Fiorina perhaps? At least that's what the former Florida governor let slip yesterday at a campaign stop in Waterloo, Iowa.
'Should I be elected president, I would have my vice president - I think she will be a great partner,' Bush said, according to the Daily Caller.
When the candidate realized what pronoun he used, he paused and received laughter.
'I mean, did I say that out loud?' Bush asked the crowd.
Bush didn't utter a name, but by the process of elimination, it could seem that the GOP candidate was fingering Fiorina for the job.
She is, after all, the only female Republican candidate running. Fiorina is also the only GOP candidate who has propelled herself from the junior varsity debates onto the main stage, where she's attracted broader national attention. Of course there are other women in GOP politics too. The Washington Examiner looked at who might be viable to put on the ticket, to counter-balance Hillary Clinton topping the Democratic ticket in what would be a history-making election - that of the first female president.

Oh brother...it wasnt an accident but a conscious attempt to make himself look more accceptable to a certain demographic of voter. This was rehursed for sure.

I agree 100% because I saw the video and it was no mistake. There was nothing in how he said it to make me think it was a slip of the tongue.
Only the media reporting on it claims it was a gaffe. If Jeb Bush now claims it was a mistake, it dislike him even more and he's a bad actor.
