In an interview with Boston talk radio host Jeff Kuhner, Republican Ted Cruz said that if he were elected president, he would "absolutely"appoint Donald Trump to build a giant wall on the U.S.-Mexican border.
"If you're elected president of the United States, will you do what Donald Trump has pledged to do? Would a President Cruz build a wall along the entire southern border?" Kuhner asked. "And would you if you were president appoint Donald Trump to build that wall?"
Cruz laughed. "Absolutely yes on both fronts," he responded.
"I have laid out a very detailed immigration plan," Cruz said. "We will build a wall that works, we will secure the border, we will triple the border patrol⦠as president, I will secure the border and we will end illegal immigration."

Even better news would be:
Donald Trump would appoint Ted Cruz to the United States Supreme Court.

I still say a wall is not needed, that there are more effective methods such as my invention - The Hillcrow. It's a scarecrow made to look like Hitlery that you put all along the border. Inside each Hillcrow is a intensely powerful speaker that blasts her "I am sick and tired speech" 24/7. You think anyone is going to even dare get near that thing? I don't think so.

I smile thinking of Donald Trump in charge of the Commerce Dept.

Donald Trump would appoint Ted Cruz to the United States Supreme Court. If Trump is elected, I would rather see him appoint Cruz to be his Attorney General. It will take a lot to clean up the Justice Department after 8 years of Obamanation.
Cruz can then serve a couple of terms as President, followed by a Supreme Court appointment.

Trump won’t play second fiddle. He’d be bored with anything less than president. That’s why it has to be Trump-Cruz 2016 not Cruz-Trump 2016.

Here's one section of the wall that Trump architects have already proposed. It stands 50 stories high and is finished in polished brass.

I smile thinking of Donald Trump in charge of the Commerce Dept. With Sarah Palin as Secretary of the Interior and John Bolton as Secretary of State. Ben Carson would make a good Secretary of Health or Surgeon General.
Jeb Bush would make a good ambassador to some third world country that no one has ever heard of.

Sounds good.
The solid Constitutional conservative and devout Christian sitting in the White House, directing the right people for the right jobs. What’s not to love?

I don't think it's all about the money. I have no reason to doubt Trump's sincerity on the issue. If Trump is prez, of course, Trump wouldn't be allowed to make money off of it. If he's hired by Preesident Cruz to build it, he might.
I could see those little highway maintenance signs dotting it, saying this section of wall built a maintained by "Trump Inc.", in English, Espanol and Arabic.

But he will use H1B and outsourced designers and Goldman Sachs will underwrite the bonds to finance it. Sorry Ted. America first, H1Bs out, and screw Wall St.

Be a sport and let him go First World, give him a place to do all that cool stuff he's thinking about. Spain, maybe, and he can brush up on his Castillian.
