Former National Security Adviser Sandy Berger, who served under President Bill Clinton, has died at the age of 70 from cancer. "V sad start to day; just learned Sandy Berger passed away during the night," Richard Haass, the president of the Council on Foreign Relations, tweeted Wednesday morning. "Good man & friend who served nation well as bill clinton's NSA."

Sandy's defense.......

.....I thought I was tucking in my shirt and didn’t realize that I had documents in my hands when I was doing it..............Berger explained,........ I was reading National Archive documents on the toilet — which isn’t illegal — and when I finished doing my business I grabbed the Charmin, did what I had to to and as I was pulling up my shorts, the documents I was reading happened to get caught up in my Fruit Of the Looms..... It is the same thing that happened when I had honestly put other documents down my pants when I was honestly tucking in my shirt......

....Likewise my socks, he added, saying that ...all the elastic went out of them and they were drooping, so I lifted them up as would any normal, honest American. In the process, some documents I was examining happened to get stuck in the sock. That happens to people all the time.....LOL

I search Sandy and another Burgler. Neither came up with anything. I misspelled his last name out of habit, so I apologize for the extra posting.

We still need an improved search. I think this is the same functionality we have had from the time I started using FR.

Why do you think it happened? If you know someone that you want to get rid of on a permanent basis, just put out the word that they have some dirt on Hillary and are going public with it. For insurance, add that they have some dirt on Bill also.

Ctrl F. It’s the find key. When you are at the top of the main FR page; hit Ctrl F. Use a main keyword (in this case ‘berger’) and you will see the other posts already posted.

I think that FreeAtlanta’s mistake was to use a Google search instead of the resident FR search application.

I’ll continue to recommend the “on-board” search (upper right-hand on the main page).

It ain’t exactly perfect but it does search ONLY FreeRepublic for topics...
