Radio host Glenn Beck said Tuesday that Donald Trump acts like the radical community organizer Saul Alinsky.
"He is Saul Alinsky," Beck insisted of the GOP presidential front-runner on his radio broadcast.
"[Trump] will isolate you and polarize you and he will take you out," Beck said. "He will destroy you. "He is spending money with Tea Party groups and churches and news websites to own them," the conservative pundit added.
Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals" has inspired controversy over its principles on income inequality, politics and social justice.
Beck argued that the Republican establishment threatens Trump's lead in the polls at its own peril.
"[The GOP] is making themselves a horrible, horrible bed [if they] run campaigns against him," he said of Trump.
Beck said alienating Trump could prompt the businessman to run as a third party presidential candidate next year -- something that could benefit Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton.
"What are the odds that he is a spoiler?" Beck asked of Trump. "What are the odds that he got into this because he's friends with the Clintons and he'll get a massive payback?
"Can you imagine if Hillary Clinton gets in because he ran third party?" he continued. "Do you know the favor they're going to owe him?"
Beck additionally suggested that Trump's policy stances "make no sense."
"He doesn't believe the things that he's saying," he said of the New York business mogul, citing his immigration rhetoric.
Trump has repeatedly warned the Republican National Committee he'll consider a third party run if it does not treat him fairly.
Alinsky turned American politics on its head. His book, as he hoped it would, has played a huge role in destroying Western Civilization. That’s despite many highly intelligent people who were trying to counteract the movement he started. Now Obama is our president.
So yeah, Alinsky is probably smarter than I am. He was certainly accomplishing a lot to destroy society by the time he was my age. As for Beck, he’s too stupid to know that Trump is too stupid to be Alinsky. At least I have one up on Beck in that regard. Trump is what can happen when a rich kid goes full con artist. He’s not, as Alinsky was, able parlay his accomplishments into a systematic philosophy that will have impact on our culture.
In any case, I wonder how you can tell how intelligent I am. I’ve certainly made several stupid comments on FR and plenty of grammatical and spelling errors, but I’m obviously too stupid to figure out how those reveal much about me. To me, being able to see past Trump’s choppy sentences and vague soundbites takes some intelligence. I know what it is. You can see that I lack imagination. I’m unable to listen to Trump’s words, and imagine that he’s said something else. I’m unable, like all Trump supporters, to imaging him doing things that he’s made no indication he’ll ever do.
This is a perfect example of the superior imagination of Trump supporters. You imagine that I’m in a basement in my parents’ house, and it’s reality. You imagine that Trump will do all these things that he never said he’d do, and it’s reality. You’re right. I am stupid. I lack your imagination.
Now that comment deserves a BIG BUMP!
What did you do when Trump attacked Pam Geller?
You do realize that Ms Gellar just came out in support of Trump, for his calling out and bringing attention to the radical muzzie situation we have going on, don’t you?
I wouldn’t be surprised if that rift is soon mended.
Fixed it for you. He talks like a dozer driver, but he is very, very smart. And he has a heart for this nation.
Like his master, Lucifer.
Why would a billionaire risk his fortune and his family, grown children and grandchildren, as well as his reputation and his peace of mind for the rest of his life (and in these days of terrorism, become a target or have his towers become targets) -- just for kicks? No. He is in it from his heart. He just can't stand to see the destruction of what was a beautiful, hopeful, inspiring and productive country that has given him so much. He has estates all over the U.S. and Europe where he could retire and play golf; but I sincerely think he is a person who loves a challenge and brings many skills to our current dilemmas, especially the wreck of our economy.
TIME Magazine: What's the most significant learning experience in your life?Donald Trump: Over my lifetime I've seen a lot of very smart people who were quitters. They never made it. And I've seen people that weren't as smart who never ever, ever gave up. And those were the people that made it. And I've seen it to this day. I've seen people that graduated... in school who were super geniuses. And they never made it. And Iâve seen people that were not as smart as them and they're the biggest people out there. And the ones that are the biggest people are the people that never gave up. It's something I've just observed over the years.
So I take it you're not giving up.
No, I don't give up.

Thank you ! :-)
Have you considered that both may be true? :)
“A Saul Alinsky on our side.
IT IS ABOUT TIME!!! Even Beck sees it in him.”
YES!
Trump is using the left’s tactics against them. That doesn’t mean he’s doing it to implement communism in this country, but to squash those doing just that.
Glenn is so unhinged with jealousy.
I am sincerely sorry for my royal screw up.
Oh that’s fine. :’)
