Clinton will unveil $275 billion infrastructure plan to create jobs By Amanda Becker

BOSTON U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton plans to make job creation the focus of her campaign over the next month, beginning with a $275 billion infrastructure spending plan that will be released this week.

Clinton's plan to increase the federal government's spending on infrastructure by $275 billion over the next five years will be fully paid for by changing how businesses are taxed, a campaign aide said, without providing any details.

Of the total amount, $25 billion will be earmarked for an infrastructure bank. Clinton's campaign estimates her proposals could also encourage private investment that, along with government spending, would inject a total of $500 billion into rebuilding crumbling roads, bridges, buildings and other structures.

"My jobs plan starts with investing in infrastructure," Clinton said on Sunday at the launch of "Hard Hats for Hillary" in Boston, "not just because infrastructure jobs are good-paying jobs, though they are, and not just because we desperately need to invest in building our future again, which we do, but because investing in infrastructure makes our economy more productive and competitive across the board."

One of 3 ways:

1. Raise taxes through the roof.

2. Print it out of thin air.

3. Both...............

But Rodham, America is bankrupt.

Where oh where will you get the money?

Oh. I know. You’re counting on seizing our life’s savings and our IRAs.

You are indeed a despicable old bag of wind.

What jobs? I didn’t see those shovel ready jobs anywhere. So, where did all that money go?

They know it doesn’t work...they don’t care.

It’s all a con game anyway. Most of the money will eventually find its way into political campaign coffers.

Why do we need a jobs program after seven years of Obama? To hear this White House tell it, Obama has created more jobs than Reagan.

Wait! Don’t tell me! It’s gonna be for bridges, and “infrastructure” and shite like that, right? You know, “shovel ready” projects. Hey, I know! How about building a pyramid instead! You know, to store wheat and shite like that in. Even better maybe a bunch of little pyramids spread throughout different voter districts and such. You know, to spread around all of those new, temporary government jobs and such.

Oh, yeah, let’s not forget calking, either. Maybe when those little government pyramids start to fall apart Hillary could initiate a NEW government jobs-creation program where the government hires platoons of pyramid calkers.

But sadly enough, Hillary, Obama tried all of this six years ago. And guess what? We didn’t get squat except for another 800 billion in debt. Still, we can’t really blame Hillary for coming up with the same failed plan of spending hundreds of billions of dollars of borrowed money to “create” jobs every Democrat has tried for the last 50 years, now can we? After all, pretty much the only Democrat idea involves a BIG government program financed with LARGE amounts of borrowed dollars. Why would anyone think a Democrat could come up with some other idea besides that one? (Well, yeah, I know; Democrats DO have a couple of other “ideas”: free college and other free stuff for everyone, confiscate everybody’s guns except the ones the Democrats use to defend themselves with, and “free” medical care run by the government.

O.M.G. Clinton is going to run on creating taxpayer funded jobs?

Creating PRIVATE SECTOR jobs is what Trump is best at. That’s his wheelhouse.

This is going to be good!

There’s only one way to get more jobs.
Free the business owners from the heavy burden of taxes and regulations that keep them from spending capital and expanding their businesses..................

we got new curbs and pavement for about 1000 feet of highway.”

What no bike trails and safe places for people to get away? IMO the bicycle riders should be paying for their own bike lanes and not take the space away from auto traffic. Constant battle in our area where we desperately need more auto lanes but instead get more lanes for people who ride bicycles for pleasure only on the weekend.

$275 billion over the next five years will be tuned to $2.75 trillion after the election.

The country is falling apart and we have a hundred million on welfare and they think that another FDR type of works program is the best idea.

Imagine getting Hoover Dam built (or any of the other successful projects of the 1930's)? How long would they spend in court protecting the snail darter or some such critter.

Only $275 billion for her cronies in crime?

0bama skimmed off $800 billion for his buds within a month and called it the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act

It was a political disaster and a waste of taxpayer's dollars.

Surely Hillary can promise more!

I'm sure it will be just as effective as the Stimulus.

The only "infrastructure" it will be addressing are the union thug ones like last time. Gotta keep those goons and campaign woikas happy and well supplied with bling!
