Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said Donald Trump's divisive rhetoric is only serving to turn the international Muslim community against the U.S.
"Oh, I think it has an interesting effect of turning Muslims all over the world against the United States of America, which is 99.44 percent people who practice an honorable religion," the Arizona senator said of Trump on CBS's "Face the Nation" on Sunday.
"As all of our candidates bloviate about the refugees, [Syrian President] Bashar Assad is a major cause of the refugees which are now flooding Europe and causing such consternation in the United States," he said. "A no-fly zone will provide a refuge at least for some of these refugees."

That's the question of the day, isn't it.
Next time Trump says government officials are stupid, think of John McCain. He epitomizes the truth of that.
In 2008, I voted for the girl.
If one is in the KKK, hard for someone to not say they are racist and they are unwelcomed
If one is a Nazi, hard for someone to not say they are a socialist and hate Jews, and they are unwelcomed.
But if one subscribes to a religion that advocates killing others whom are not of the same, then Liberals will welcome them to the table of diversity.
About the only thing McCain has done right was to select Sarah Palin as his running mate. And he probably regrets that now.
Recognize that this despicable man could've been President.
Could the 2008 election have been a match-up between the worst and next worst candidates ever?
Regardless of who won, the country lost...???

Mc nasty has caused enough problems go home and sit in the corner and drool please
Probably the last “Republican” I would vote for president would be John McCain. But I did and Mitt Romney. No wonder we’re all in revolt this time. Stupid Party.
That’s a good thing.
Please God keep Donald safe.
pls make another one with BigEdLB in the corner and repost so you get the credit you deserve...
2016
In just over a month it will be 2016. It can’t get here soon enough.
McCain has outlived his Use By date. It’s so tiring to see him and Graham spouting their garbage opinions that haven’t been updated to deal with today’s world.
They both hold positions in the Senate that permit them to be apprised of Top Secret information regarding threats to the US, but it seems they are stuck on wanting to apply tactics to counter those threats that may have worked a decade or so ago instead of accepting any new ploys.
Arabs never ‘buttered up’ the little people... maybe that’s what McCain is missing. They’ve stopped buttering him up.
In the same vein, if I farted in a fertilizer plant would John McCain blame me for the smell?
REPRIEVE:it was actually voting for Sarah Palin.
