The gunman suspected of storming a Planned Parenthood clinic and killing a police officer and two others told the officers who arrested him âno more baby parts,ââ after being taken into custody, according to a law enforcement official.
The attack on the clinic was âdefinitely politically motivated,ââ the official â who has been briefed on the investigation and spoke on condition of anonymity because it is still unfolding â told The Washington Post. NBC News, which first reported the comment attributed to suspect Robert Lewis Dear, said Dear also mentioned President Obama in a range of statements to investigators that left unclear his precise motivation in targeting the clinic.

None are so blind as those who will not see. ABC has up a headline today which reads: “Planned Parenthood no stranger to violence.” No kidding.
They don’t want us to know for some reason. They may be people that were shot at random - at the wrong place at the wrong time.
Could be, but it seems strange he never shot any of the PP people.
What a weird qualifier. Killing of people other than cops is ok?
This is Planned Parenthood’s fault. Chopping up babies and selling them was bound to enrage those already teetering on the edge.
Ha!
Dope is legal in Colorado. Lots of loons are heading there.

Check out the driveway/entry to that address.

The only weapon I read about is a “long weapon”, something like that.
This story in ways is like the biker incident in Waco, we may not know for weeks what really went on. Seems to me, we still don’t know about Waco.
But I agree, “cross-fire” too, sounds like it could have killed and injured people, if you kill a cop, assuming this happened first, then, yeah, the bullets are going to be flying and at this point, he shot about 3 cops.
Interesting. But PP is listed at 3480.
That twitterer says 3470.
Pro-life demonstrators are required to stay a certain distance from the entrance; they cannot block the doors. I’ve been to my share of demonstrations. So it’s not unusual for them to congregate in the driveway, wth signs and literature, and to leave graffiti there. SOP.
Does anyone have a photo of the building’s facade? 3480, that is.
3470 must be an adjacent building that shares the same parking lot—?
And what’s the name and address of the bank where the cop was killed?
Some reports said the bank was 1/4 mile away. Is that true?
P.S. I’m going to sleep now. Will check this thread tomorrow p.m. After church.
Nothing like a good mystery! Especially one that calls out the media!
The bank is behind you in this view, not exactly close but don't know how far for sure...
Rotate the view - the bank is on the left around the curve. There's a shopping center past the bank but Goo-Gle didn't drive their spycar into it so we can't see what's in there.
Ok, totally wrong, my bad.
Looking at 3480 Centennial Blvd on instant street view—and there IS a big honking Planned Parenthood sign on the front.
What we want to believe does not matter in the slightest. What matters is motive, opportunity and means and proof beyond a reasonable doubt. The operative word being REASONABLE. His actual sanity is also an issue if he makes it an issue. Did he know what he was doing and that it was wrongful behavior? I have forgotten the more formal expression of that rule. If he was genuinely whackadinghoy at the time of the offenses, he goes to the looney bin until he is competent to stand trial or considered healed.
Why is it politically motivated to be disgusted by Plamned Parenthood’s practices?
This sounds like John Kerry’s statement about prior terrorist attacks being justified. We all on this site are appalled by the practice of abortion, we all want for it to end. Yet, none of us have taken or will take a rifle into a PP facility and start shooting. Don’t give this guy or any other who may do such things any refuge by saying he was pushed to it or he was in any way justified. He’s a crazy SOB, a killer, and deserves the same destiny as that of his victims. PP is not responsible for this guy’s actions any more than a girl in a mini skirt is responsible for her rapist’s actions.
You’re absolutely correct, and what folks don’t seem to understand is if the police or DA or mayor make any statements of fact that later turn off to be false, well there’s this SOB’s reasonable doubt argument and he could walk.
We don’t all agree with you hoss exactly
Do you ever think the war to save western civilization will go hot?
Kinda ironic you here as a newbie preaching pacifism over abortion with your nick
Used to play for silver now we play for life.....
It will come to that pardner trust me.....we are past the point
I don’t think this guy is that point and there is a lot of confusion over if PP was even the target but I don’t cry over dead abortionists do you?
What part of Colorado I’m out there a lot......
Not the state it used to be.......should have left it at medical....
Just my opinion
I was just in Red Rocks at the Cliffside....
I prefer SW part of the state
Front Range too much like Portland
I think a lot of folks have had Moses moments. He saw the beating of the Hebrew, he killed the Egyptian who was doing it. Then he ran into a credibility crisis with a countryman in dispute with another Hebrew, who thought he solved all problems that way. Ostracized, 40 years in the desert, then the burning bush spoke and everything changed now the Lord was behind it.
I think our abortion debacle speaks of a lot of hard heartedness and not all of it is the abortion facilities or even the clients. A general re-embrace of a loving Lord would begin to erase this horrible legacy. Anyhow that is the HTRN take.
