Sort of quiet...I got my errands done before the streets froze over again. Then I had my computer guy come over and try to fix my Mom’s computer, but nothing works on it, so, just in case, I had him bring a “new” used replacement. She’s mostly up and running. I have things to work on later tonight.

But, yesterday and today have been BAD days for her knees and now I think she might have a pinched nerve somewhere. Getting both legs in and out of bed is not going well. She wants to scream at the point where the pain hits, but we can’t leave her half off the bed. It just took a half hour to get her from the bathroom to her chair and then to bed. Her knees want to buckle and I can only help so much. I’m going to call a massage person who makes house calls as she doesn’t want the chiropractor who makes house calls. *sigh* We will try the massage first. It remains to be seen how much can be done on the bed. Don’t know if she can sit on the massage chair or not.

One thing at a time, one day at a time. It’s been a long few days.

Indeed, those days of pain get more frequent longer all the time, don’t they.

My MIL’s knees are weak, too. She is trying so hard to get the strength back in her legs by practicing standing, but the other day she said her knee almost gave way and the therapist had to help her get to her chair before she fell again.

Just don’t know what’s going to happen next. The retirement place she wants to stay in when she comes down here called asking about her again today. I hope and pray that she’ll get to do that. She is such an independent soul. I know your mom has been, too. Bless their hearts!
