RICHMOND, VA â An 18 year old teenager is being charged with attempted murder after shooting his uncle during Thanksgiving dinner because his uncle had asked him âdo you have a girlfriend?â
Cody Stone was arrested Thursday evening by Richmond police upon being found blocks away from his home where he had shot his uncle. Cody had apparently attempted to escape the home and authorities. Although critically injured with a bullet wound, Codyâs uncle is expected to live after being rushed and treated at the emergency room.
According to family members, Cody was apparently infuriated upon being asked if he had a girlfriend. âNobody was talking, we were all just eatingâ said Codyâs younger brother Timothy, âMy brother Cody was eating quietly with his head down and hair covering his face when all of a sudden my uncle broke the silence saying âso um Cody, do you have a girlfriend?â Cody slowly looked up and said âwhat did you say?â before standing up and taking out a gun and shooting my uncle onceâ.

We’ll have to make sure babble-on walks through the metal detector before Christmas dinner.
Packing heat at the dinner table.
Acne.
“...getting any mud for my turtle...”
LOLMAO!!!
Haven’t heard that phrase in 30+yrs.
Choking on my coffee.
Either fabricated gun story created by the gun grabber crowd or it happened. My question is...what kid brings a loaded handgun to the dinner table at Thanksgiving unless it was premeditated or they have a CCL and carry all the time? Don't know any 18 yr olds that do that I can think of....
Now he’s gonna BE a girlfriend!!
