Note: Cheri Jacobus is Republican consultant that was once the spokesperson for the RNC.

I remember JimRob reluctantly voting for Romney in the last election despite is his liberal because he knew the country would be damaged by another Obama term.

But, the GOPe types like Jacobus couldn't careless the damage a Hillary Presidency would do to the country or that she'd be able to select a far-left majority on SCOUTS for decades.

Welcome Hitlary Clinton, the next President. The GOPe does not see the downside except in terms of $$$$.

Russia is extremely perturbed and gearing up for a christian crusade that will make the alibgensian slaughter look like a day inthe park.

How many FReepers would vote for Bush?
Kasich?
Christie?
Pataki?

I’m no fan of GOPe, but standing on principle isn’t only something done by the establishment.

Let me translate for you. She said she will vote progressive. Why? Because she is a progressive.

Write-ins aren’t usually counted. In TX, a write-in candidate must be declared within 45 days of a general election. Write-ins are almost never reported or mentioned.

Cheri Jacobus is not for a big tent Republican party. She only wants the people SHE thinks is worthy of being a Republican in the party.

What a bigot.

Well, I have a somewhat similar plan. If Ted Cruz isn’t on the ticket, I’m writing in... Ted freekin Cruz. I’m done settling, if my party is dead, I sure as hell ain’t votin’ for the other one.

Likely that Cheri is one of those who intends to be a part of history and vote for the first female president.

Truth be told, she also voted for history in 2008.

"I will not vote for @realDonaldTrump under any circumstances in the primary OR general election I will write in a real Republican."

The problem is "REAL Republicans" you know the ones like Romney and McLame and Jebnesty...

I get it. Trump must pledge to support the GOPe nominee if they win, but they don’t have to support him if he wins.

Nice double-standard ya got there, bleach-Blondie.

Not vote for The Donald but go ahead and vote for THE BEAST.

That makes a lot of sense.

There are a bunch of hypocrites posting on this thread. How many on this forum brag about going 3rd party because Romney/McCain/Dole/Etc weren't good enough. How many are now threatening to not vote or vote 3rd party if (fill in the blank) doesn't get the nomination? We don't set up threads to slam them.

The fact of the matter is that Cheri Jacobus is a nobody who did this post in order to get noticed. Everyone with any sign of life in their brain needs to vote for whatever Republican the process selects, because I can't see anyone who won't do a better job than Hillary/Sanders/O'Malley - at least they would do less harm. And that includes Pataki or Gillmore or (fill in the blank).

We each need to back the one we like the best, then come together to stop more serious damage to this Republic.

Many of us reluctantly voted for Romney and were prepared to fight him after the election in the areas in which we disagreed. There were many areas. But we recognized that allowing Obama a second term was unthinkable. We are watching the results and it is going to get worse before he is finished.

What should a regular Reagan Republican do? Not vote for Trump in the primary. But if he were to become the nominee. Definetly vote for him over Hillary. But I don’t think his odds would be good...

I will not vote for @realDonaldTrump under any circumstances in the primary. . . .

Same here. I definitely will not vote for the RINO noncon Trump in the primary. Instead, I will vote for a conservative. Now if by some extremely remote chance Trump should get the nomination, then I will have to reevaluate. I have voted for the Republican nominee every time since 1972, but Trump would certainly put that streak to the test. He is one of the worst candidates I have ever seen.

Whatever happened to the loyalty paper Rinse Prenus presented to Donald to sign? Why only Trump has to be loyal to the GOP?

Neither will I - I will only vote for Conservatives.

And if Trump does make the General, he will lose.

Does Cheri want to vote for someone who she thinks she is superior to? and Mr Trump isn’t humble enough for her taste?

And does Cheri think we all should care what she thinks?
