Sure, Jeb Bush can become a leading Republican presidential candidate. It's gonna be tough, but hardly impossible.
More and more, voters want someone with government experience and sound political judgment. As election days get closer, they'll seek more depth and nuance about issues. And Bush and his backers also bring a huge pile of campaign cash and a proven network of insiders well-schooled in politics and policy.
Bush remains a long-shot, and polls still show him mired deep in single digits. The good news? "You're seeing a little of that (some gains) now," said David Paleologos, director of the Suffolk University Political Research Center, which surveys in New Hampshire, the nation's first primary state.
But, he added, "I don't think it's because of anything he's doing." In the wake of the Nov. 13 Paris terrorist attacks, voters are looking more for a candidate with policy know-how.

No!
ALL of the other candidates could DIE in the morning and Jeb couldn’t get the nomination.
Jeb is staying in this race because the GOPe still intends to install him whether we like it or not.
They aren’t giving up.
He’ll need to parachute into Syria and rescue a downed Russian pilot by himself. :)
I don’t think we are that inept.
Do the party by-laws allow that? I thought the loser elites tried to control the outcome using dim cross-over voters. I don’t think the party can just throw out primary results.
They have it rigged by apportioning of the delegates and super delegates.
“Iâm thinking about growing my peter out some, too, “
LOL
Can pigs fly? Maybe.
I would say that Jeb B. has no chance to become the GOP nominee. But I said the same thing about John McCain who came across as a nut case. He fumbled the debates and media questions, talked to himself, appeared feeble, and almost anybody could tell he wasn’t going to win against either Hillary or Obama.
jeb’s plan was for a low turnout election against hillary where hillary’s turnout would be even lower than his turnout.
this only works if there’s no one to fire up the base.
a couple of people have showed up to fire up the base.
this is a problem for bush that he can’t resolve.
It’s funny, Jeb is at 4% and has a chance. Trump at 38% and they cant see him winning. One of the many reasons I like Trump is that every establishment is against him.
Not in a million years is sombrero boy making a comeback.
Too late for Bush. Show’s over!
DRUGS! That’s the only reason anyone would think Yeb can get the nomination.
