Can Jeb Bush become a top Republican contender? Maybe...

Sure, Jeb Bush can become a leading Republican presidential candidate. It's gonna be tough, but hardly impossible.

More and more, voters want someone with government experience and sound political judgment. As election days get closer, they'll seek more depth and nuance about issues. And Bush and his backers also bring a huge pile of campaign cash and a proven network of insiders well-schooled in politics and policy.

Bush remains a long-shot, and polls still show him mired deep in single digits. The good news? "You're seeing a little of that (some gains) now," said David Paleologos, director of the Suffolk University Political Research Center, which surveys in New Hampshire, the nation's first primary state.

But, he added, "I don't think it's because of anything he's doing." In the wake of the Nov. 13 Paris terrorist attacks, voters are looking more for a candidate with policy know-how.

Yes it is (impossible).

He is a whiny, pro-amnesty Leftist and he can’t change that.

And the chattering class can’t seem to understand most Americans are no longer going to put up with it.

“Bush and his backers also bring a huge pile”

The only line of truth in the entire article.

“And the chattering class can’t seem to understand most Americans are no longer going to put up with it.”

You have to try very hard not to notice it or be very stupid or a combination of both.

The country is even more fed up than it was in 1980.

Someone has been sniffing glue on the envelopes.

Polls are saying just the opposite -- voters are sick of the politicians-as-usual.

Nuance: subtle difference or distinction in meaning or response.
Very slight variation in color or tone.

Seven years of *nuance* is what got us to this sad state of affairs.

No More Nuance!

We want bold talk with bolder actions!

Jeb Bush, and his entire family, are living proof of how anemic the Republican party has let itself become. The blue-bloods have worn thin. The sooner they are flushed out entirely the better.

I live in South Carolina. We are getting inundated with Jeb ads, the result? He is still hovering at around 4%. The Republican electorate does not want him. Someone needs to get him to throw in the towel before he crosses into Harold Stassen territory.

Oh, look, Herman. The dead Jeb corpse twitched a bit. Let’s drink more absinthe. Maybe dead Jeb will get up and dance.
