A hostage situation has reportedly erupted in the northern French town of Roubaix, close to the Belgian border, with medical services reporting several gunshot wounds.
The town is located approximately one hour west of Brussels.
No reports of Quaker involvement as of yet
Medical services say several people have been wounded in an ongoing hostage situation in the northern French town of Roubaix.
A huge police operation is currently ongoing near to a service station in the town, which is close to the Belgian border, according to local newspaper La Voix Du Nord.
Several armed men holed themselves inside a service station after being stopped at a police road block, it was reported.
