A little of the "background noise" from a candidate who should have dropped out a long time ago.

The fed records my phonecalls, monitors my emails and views me, as a Constitutionist, AS a terrorist. But somehow, magically, they get a pass, though their faux-holy book says they may lie to me, and that they SHOULD be pursuing the overthrowing of my government. Makes no sense to me. Muslim in Chief likes the ideas though.

Rand Paul probably hopes that President Trump will hire him for some cabinet post, but it’ll never happen.

Calling Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump's stance on the topic "disqualifying", Kentucky U.S. Sen. Rand Paul said on CBS's "Face the Nation" Sunday that he opposed government surveillance at mosques and establishing databases to track Muslims.

Calling THE MEDIA'S FALSE REPRESENTATION OF Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump's stance on the topic "disqualifying", Kentucky U.S. Sen. Rand Paul said on CBS's "Face the Manipulation" Sunday that he opposed government surveillance at mosques and establishing databases to track Muslims.

Rand Paul thus tacitly admitted that he doesn't know dick about databases, because Muslims are already tracked.

“Enablement of Islam in North America, meaning: establishing an effective and a stable Islamic Movement led by the Muslim Brotherhood which adopts Muslims’ causes domestically and globally, and which works to expand the observant Muslim base, aims at unifying and directing Muslims’ efforts, presents Islam as a civilization alternative, and supports the global Islamic State wherever it is.”

"...the Movement must plan and struggle to obtain "the keys" and the tools of this process in carry out [sic] this grand mission as a 'Civilization Jihadist' responsibility."

“The process of settlement is a ‘Civilization-Jihadist Process’ with all the word means. The Ikhwan [Muslim Brotherhood] must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers…”

“A list of our organizations and the organizations of our friends” - This is where the Muslim Brotherhood listed its front groups in the U.S.. Note that prominent organizations like CAIR, ISNA, ICNA and others are named here.

Well, they seem to have no big problem putting constitution loving, veteran, TEA, Gadsden flag wavers in a DHS database.

It’s this crap that keeps libertarians from becoming Libertarians.
One of the minimum functions of government is
to defend the nation from within and without.
Anything less isn’t more freedom, it is merely suicide.

While I don’t believe in willy-nilly monitoring of Citizens I do think that if there is evidence of any institution or individual religious or otherwise that is preaching and plotting violence such as Jihad they authorities should be able to acquire warrants for wiretapping and monitoring and if they are public places of worship there is no reason why the police can not attend services of course. That said Trump never said he was for creating a carte blanche Muslim database nor carte blanche monitoring of Mosques. There are already databases for all refugees and immigrants Muslim and otherwise so nothing that Trump is for is out of the ordinary. The only thing amiss is the media which as always tries to create a controversy where there is none and it will benefit Trump. Muslims are not like previous immigrants those that believe they are just don’t understand Islam. Not all Muslims may be radicalized but the vast majority of Muslims have every intent to dominate the cultures they immigrate into. Its part of the fabric of their religion.

If mosques are being used to facilitate terrorism, we HAVE TO KNOW!

It’s just silly to pretend otherwise.
