The latest poll results from Rasmussen weren't cheered by the GOP establishment, which has been holding its breath for months, hoping that the frontrunner would fade and allow someone more willing to toe the establishment's line to come to the fore.
The poll, taken last week, wasn't encouraging: 63 percent of Likely Republican Voters think Donald Trump will be the Republican Party's nominee for president (up from 59 percent the week before), while 51 percent of all likely voters agree.
Trump's claim that President Obama's decision to allow 10,000 Syrian refugees into the United States next year is the "ultimate Trojan horse" continues to resonate with voters who, according to Rasmussen, oppose Obama's decision.

It seems the GOPe is really out to piss us off. You know, their base.
Frik’n morons.
The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Can’t stand the GOPe, so Trump is looking better and better.
“In the memo Mair called the group “highly confidential” so that donors won’t be tied to the group directly. Noted Mair, “Their fingerprints will be kept off things.” “
Well, if those were some of their initial goals, looks like Mair and Wilson have blown it before the starting gate even opened.
Maybe it’s time.
A bit of drivel from the F*ck America Club, sponsored by The Olde Boys’ Network of Republicrats and Democans.
Motto: “Hey, we OWN congress - don’t mess with us.”
I thought it was a mistake for Trump to sign a ‘loyalty pledge’, without a reciprocal pledge from the GOP.
I cannot forget how the GOP backed Murkowski, after she lost the primary.
Nor can I forget how the GOP actively supported Thad Cochran, when he was challenged in a primary.
And of course I cannot forget the complete lack of support the GOP gave Christine O’Donnell, after she won her primary.
This is most appalling because they demanded a statement of loyalty from him but now won’t return it. I see this as their breaking the agreement.
These no-names are perfect for the mules they are, to carry this water for the LLS investors.
Only the no-names are stupid enough to have their own finger prints all over this. I mean, LOL! :D
“The latest poll results from Rasmussen weren’t cheered by the GOP establishment........”
“Who in the hell targets their own candidate? How totally Fâd up is that!?”.......
Actually, “How totally F’d up is the GOP Establishment?????
Their plans and actions should tell you.
Politicians who’s names get tied to this, especially when Trump calls them out will find their careers are suddenly over.
“Who in the hell targets their own candidate?”
RINOs are not conservatives.
RINOs are an adjunct of the Liberal Democrat Uniparty Establishment.
RINOs are the NEAR ENEMY we must first defeat before we can get to the FAR ENEMY of the properly proclaimed Democrats.
The Cheap Labor Express is shaking in their shoes.
Trump would stop them.
They will do whatever is necessary to keep him from being elected.
Oy Vey!
If Trump wants to go third party or do an independent campaign THAT’S JUST FINE WITH ME!!!!
RINOs go to hell.
What’s the next step to attempt to discredit Trump, have the Republican establishment endorse Hillary?????
What a shock!!!
Not!
I think that this is just a small part of larger effort to take down Trump.
It seems the GOPe is really out to piss us off. You know, their base.
I submit we’re no longer considered the “base”, but the fringe, in their eyes. We didn’t leave the Republican Party, the Republican Party left us.
