Open letter to The Donald:

You have to know what you are up against.

I suspect that you know.

Let me know what I can do to help

Signed: I want a candidate that cannot be bought

You can’t say he wasn’t warned. Maybe he needs to spend more time on FR.

That would be fun (for about 90 seconds). I imagine Trump would be hated here after getting a few recommendations and some critism. FReepers are pretty direct and mostly intelligent. Trump doesn't strike me as an introspective and/or humble guy that would fair well in our forum.

I could be wrong. I'm just imagining him getting peppered with his salty liberal past. I wonder what he thinks of the Tea Party and/or FReepers?

Not at all. He made a deal in exchange for promising not to go third party. The deal was contingent on being treated fairly and support from the others if he gets the nomination. If the wannabees don't condemn a coordinated effort against Trump, they broke their promise.

If they break the deal and Trump goes third party, they get what they deserve. And Trump doesn't get blame for "splitting the party" or whatever.

What did Trump say he would do if the GOPe treated him unfairly?

The GOP-E hates Trump nearly as much as they hate themselves.

I’m a Cruz supporter but this makes me mad. Makes me want to vote for Trump just because.

So, he expects political consultants that hate him not to fight him. As long as the party isn’t financing it himself he has nothing to complain about. This is the political world, was he expecting a miss manners tea party.

Trump sounds like a petulant child. "It's not fair, you're being mean to me, if your not nice I'm taking my candidacy and going home and have my own primary where I can't lose. You big mean bullies."

Presidential?
Mature?
Integrity you can trust?

There is a big difference between reality and reality TV.

IIRC, he did sign a GOP loyalty oath.
Fair to expect loyalty in return when he’s leading the pack.

I didn’t think he should have agreed to this in the first place. But it’s obvious they aren’t supporting the leading candidate. Sue them Donald.

The GOPe’s would rather have Hillary than Trump or Cruz.
They can work their crony corrupt deals with Hillary.

No actually he’s just demanding that the people be allowed to select their candidate.

Nothing wrong with being a Cruz supporter. Ted and Donald are on the same page.

“If they break the deal and Trump goes third party, they get what they deserve. And Trump doesn’t get blame for “splitting the party” or whatever.”

Bingo. If the Pub GOPe screw Trump, he will screw them back. It’s as simple as that. You don’t let your own party try to screw you over big time and not fight back. We all know Trump is a fighter; at least so far he is fighting rhetorically about what he might do; they have to worry if he actually means it and does it. And Trump is a doer. The RNC/SuperPacs are playing with fire here. And they will deserve what they get. My opinion is that Trump would win even if it were via Third Party. The GOPe better stop messing with him. For once they are out of their league.

No, he’s calling out bad behavior on those who should be working with him.
Under pressure, he agreed fidelity to the Republican ticket; now that he’s leading it, Republican leadership should show fidelity to him instead of trying to knock him out.

If the GOPe’s treat Trump like they treated McDaniel, Trump would have an obligation to run independent.
